Also it might help to mention that there's a whole thread dedicated to black quarterback's performances. Maybe those posts could be directed to that thread?

The Black QBs are not the weak spot of the Caste System. Personally those guys to the powers that be are disposable tokens, and I'll bet the black players know this better than we do here at CF. The narrative around the black QBs is the weak spot.

The pop warner (sabotage) offense Tebow ran is the exact opposite of what Lamar Jackson runs with the spread. Tebow was highly successful with the spread offense in college. Tebow's throwing motion and combine/pro day performance makes him look like Joe Montana compared to Lamar Jackson's throwing motion and combine performance. The throwing motion thing is pretty much a fictional term only tread out to denigrate our guys. It's only talked about when the media wants an excuse to consider a white QB unqualified to be NFL material. Do you ever here much about Cam Newton's, Michael Vick's, Lamar Jackson's etc. clearly "unorthodox" throwing motion and a need to change it? Nope, Never.

Tebow was my T. Hill choice before there was a T. Hill in the NFL.

I agree it was a pretty stripped down version of the option but he still averaged over 5 ypc on 122 attempts and completed less than 50 percent of his passes. Yes he did attempt more deep passes than Jackson and had less surrounding talent but 47 percent is still low.
I always thought he would have excelled as a featured back. Yes he was reluctant to change positions but I think if he would have been given the opportunity to be a teams number 1 back he would have done it and excelled. 3000 yards rushing in the sec and not all of it was option, he had alot of power running plays where he just hit the hole like a RB. He is a similar size to LeGarrete Blount and had better measurables in every single drill. Yet this was never talked about by the msm , it was always about how he could be a fullback or a tight end even though he never blocked, ran a route or caught a pass. Like I said in a previous post, my video showcasing his running ability advocating for him to be a RB was the only video I've ever had taken down.

His role with the Jets was much smaller than Hill's small role with the Saints now. So either way you look at it, nobody wanted Tebow to be in the spotlight.

Tomorrow is the Raiders' last ever home game in Oakland. They've had two of those before and ended up eventually returning, but this time it's for good.

Looks like Adam Thielen will finally be returning Sunday. Sam Hubbard also after missing last week with a knee issue.

I’m looking forward to seeing the Bills tomorrow night. I think the last time they were on a prime time game was against the Patriots - Trent Edwards was their qb.

Looking forward to the Rams-Cowboys and Packers-Bears as well. I always enjoy the last few weeks of the season when most teams are playing on Sundays.

You beat me to it. A Taysom Hill role is my response to people who say Tebow has no role in the NFL.

Yep and to think Tebow is only a few years older than Hill.

Too bad he did not ask for his release at some point prior to this week. If he had, going to the Patriots could've been a legitimate possibility. Chris barely saw the field the first 4 weeks with the Panthers, not sure why that would change now given his advanced age (for a NFL WR) and the fact that Carolina is out of contention? Actually, given a binary choice between him and Brandon Zylstra getting targets in upcoming weeks, I'd prefer the much younger Zylstra getting more action. Let's face it, if Brandon doesn't flash soon in the NFL, he'll probably be back in Edmonton doing his white-Randy Moss routine?

I posted at CF several weeks ago that Chris was recovered from his week 4 injury and could've played at the end of November. Perhaps the powers-that-be probably made sure he would not be released, knowing full well he could re-join the Patriots? Last thing they want is another white receiver helping Brady make another title run, right? I don't think there is any way possible the Patriots would not have signed him if he were available. Also, Carolina recently cut the younger Donte Moncrief, who also had some decent seasons, recently. Makes little sense they keep the older receiver over the younger one?

NFL rules pretty much state that any healthy player, wasting away on injured reserve, can ask for his release. In Chris' case it should've been a mutual break up with Carolina. Only downside for him, was if no team signed him, he'd lose his remaining salary. That is clearly a risk he should've taken. With the Pats he'd have the chance to excel down the stretch and possibly make it back to the Super Bowl. That could help extend his career going forward. I expect nothing in Carolina next 3 games, outside of limited playing time and kick coverage. I doubt there is any way Carolina brings him back and he will finally be purged from the league after this season. Actually, had Chris asked for his release a few weeks ago, he'd still have his car, which was recently stolen by some "kids". He recently took to Twatter and is begging the Yuffs to return his wheels.

P.S: Baltimore has recently signed some black no-names as front 7 depth types. Gee, guess who asked for and got his release from the Arizona Cardinals yesterday? None other than Terrell Suggs, who was starting and playing fairly well for them. No doubt he asked for his release, hoping Baltimore picks him up. Don't be surprised if Suggs is with Baltimore soon.

I hope Chris Hogan was being facetious with that post, otherwise I dare say he’s a liberal cuck or extremely naive. He's thinking like a White man when he espouses all that unity and greater community nonsense. 95% or more percent of black literally cannot even begin to think in these terms so trying to appeal to these ideas and emotions is a total waste of time.

Hopefully Chris learns a valuable lesson when his car is eventually found on cinder blocks totally striped down to the frame in some black ghetto in Charlotte.

I had my car stolen once. I remember sitting in the squad car with the AC on full blast and all the gadgets thinking to myself "I wonder how much this sucker costs?" The officer assured me they would recover the car. I was a touch skeptical but he said it with such confidence I figured who am I to argue? He said keep in touch.

So I called the police department every couple of days and still no car. So for about close to two weeks I would call them for an update every two days or so. Then they finally told me to stop bothering them. Ha.

Nothing like the men ( and women) in blue. They are "great." Until you actually need them to do something for you.

    Good to hear.

Following up on the injury theme as most probably know promising rookie Raiders TE Foster Moreau is out for the season with a knee injury. I have yet determine if it is an ACL tear. I hope not and because I haven't read that maybe it is a less severe knee problem. WR Hunter Renfrow is still out with a rib problem.

The Cowboys will again be without super stud LB Vander Esch and now there is a grave concern his neck problem could be a serious long term issue. Sean Lee is questionable but I believe S Jeff Heath will be ready to play.

The Titans WR Adam Humphries is out with an ankle issue. What a bummer in a season where there have been too many injuries for people we root for. Cardinals WR Andy Isabella is listed as questionable. Bucs WR Scott Miller looks ready to go. Cripes does it make any difference with these talented players? Their teams don't play them no matter what the circumstances are. Another bummer this season.

Raiders back up S Dallin Leavitt might get some snaps today since their starter Harris is out.

That's not going to work for Hogan. Maybe Drew Brees could pull it off if some NOLA youffs jacked his ride, but Hogan just doesn't have the star power.

I hope Thielen is hungry for a big game after being out for so long. Looking forward to seeing him in action.

Patriots have an easy game at least, vs. the Bungles.

Before the 2018 draft there were reports that some teams had red flagged Vander Esch for medical reasons. There were concerns about his neck. Supposedly some teams took him off their boards.

Unfortunately it's beginning to look as if these were legitimate concerns. It would be a shame if his career was cut short because Vander Esch has Hall of Fame talent.

Would like to see David Blough pull off the upset against the Bucs. Blough has impressed me - I think Bucky was the first one on this site to acknowledge his NFL level ability last year when he was playing for Purdue.

Rodgers with a beautiful deep pass - WR suffers from alligator arms and misses it completely.

Looks like Laird is the main RB for the Dolphins too.

Tannehill from his own end zone with a bomb after an INT in the end zone by Houston.

Listening to the radio while out sliding around in the snow trying to get to the store, I learned that the playoffs are a mere formality. The Ravens have already been declared the winner, so no need to watch any of these games today.

They also mentioned how amazing that the Titans have been since the No. 2 pick magnificent Marcus Mariota has been benched and Tannehill has taken over. The head coach was given major props for the decision, which was risky in the current environment.

Miller showed some good speed on that TD! he cut through the whole secondary.
