Don is correct, barring an injury to the Bears rookie 3rd round pick, who Nall clearly outplayed during the pre-season and is bigger, faster and more athletic than, it's doubtful he get's any carries. Perhaps an absolute blowout that leads to extended "garbage time" could be another scenario were Nall gets some carries? Although I think it's very possible Nall replaces Mike Davis in kick coverage. Davis was relegated to special teams a year after having his best pro season with Seattle. Besides special teams, Davis only had 11 carries for 25 yards and 7 receptions for 22 yards as the Bears #3 running back. That does not portend a lot of carries for Nall, who takes over as the Bears #3 running back. In addition to being let go for a lack of performance at running back, Davis was cut by Rodent Nagy because Chicago expects to gain an extra 4th round compensation pick because he was cut before week 10 -- same thing happened to Andrew Sendejo and Donte Moncrief this week. Some bad news, sort of, the Oakland Raiders released linebacker Quentin Poling, who made his NFL debut Thursday night against the Chargers. Poling a 2018 Miami Dolphins 7th round pick is expected to go back to the Raiders practice squad. It was also mentioned in another thread that Tennessee has activated wide receiver Cody Hollister from their practice squad. Hopefully get's a chance to make an impact this season.
