Since 06' Illinois' started 11, 8, 5, 4, 4, 6, 8, 10, 8, 10 , 10 and 6 whites. It's back down to 5 for 2019.
RB Mike Epstein has been a very good player when on the field but has been bitten by the injury bug the past two years. He is not projected to start in 2019 and will probably play 2nd/3rd fiddle in an RB committe. Hopefully He will get enough carries and remain healthy.
On the QB front Hatie had to find a white QB. Michigan transfer Brandon Peters has been named the starter. I am hoping for big things from him.
