Yep , on the other hand Frost committed an infraction of the Big Red football code he had a RB by the name of Mazour in the backfield. Maybe I got one right, of course a walk on

He’s white. He played a little earlier after their star afflete got caught gang raping a 14 year old and then intimidating her by sharing the gang rape video on-line. This is actually an on-going court case.

Frost and the other Cornhusker higher-ups made him sit out the first half of the first game. Mazour had a **** first half, and the afflete has been back ever since. This is worse than last decades nebraska coach getting caught hiding an affletes gun used in a crime. Or that guy they kicked off the team that later pulled a gun with young kids at a pick-up game.

The majority of DI FBS games are now unwatchable. Coal black with crappy black quarterbacks everywhere. When I joined the site over 10 years ago, I never watched college football but was compelled to by learning from CF how much Whiter it was than the NFL. Now it’s flipped. By a percentage, there are far more interesting games in the NFL in the average week than in NCAA.

Mizzou LB Cale Garrett has 2 INT’s today, returned one for a TD also.

Notre Dame had 340 yards passing and 6 TD’s and Chris Finke only managed 1 catch for 24 yards. What is going wrong this year?

SMU starting safety Trevor Denbow also doubles as their starting punter! Similar to Nebraska where the game winning field goal today was made by safety Lane McCollum.

Good to see Jordan Love throw 0 touchdowns and 3 picks as Utah State got thumped by Joe Burrow putting up video game numbers for LSU. That should cool down this years black quarterback hype.

Here, here. I second that opinion! Don't believe the hype!!!! Lol.

I'm bummed out Iowa lost. Their defense was outstanding but they just couldn't move the damn ball. Hawkeyes were ranked 14th coming into the game. I wanted them to stay undefeated as they are
probably my favorite college team at the moment as most of us here love them. Hope they bounce back in a big way next weekend.

Looks like Wisconsin is our best bet going forward.......tough loss for Iowa.....too bad they are not an SEC team......would still be a top ten team

The "experts" will make all sorts of excuses for him.

If there was a Franchise NFL QB in the LSU/Utah State game ; it was Joe Burrow...344 yards passing & 5 TD's + 42 yards & TD rushing. Message Board has been arguing on Jordan Love...some don't see the hype ; others do. Utah St LB David Woodward had 16 tackles; posted he could easily start on LSU's Defense & got no arguments. They Agree he will be the Top Flight NFL Player on that team!

In his 2nd career start Freshman QB John Rhys Plumlee (Ole Miss) impressive rushing numbers; 165 yards on 22 carries; put a "band-aid" on the lack of RB numbers this week (didn't help Borghi & Carney had Bye Week); Plumlee looks like a Running Back too. He did have 99 yards passing.

Thanks TwentyTwo! I look forward to this post every single week. I saw that Air Force WR Benjamin Waters had over 100 yards and a TD for the 2nd time this year. When has there ever been 2 WR’s from service academies with 100+ yards and a TD in the same week?
Looks like another “meh” week for the wide receivers but a lot of them found the end zone which is good. I guess a lot of teams had bye weeks this week which probably factored into the stat dip.

Thanks TwentyTwo. Thanks for noticing the Landen Akers sighting too.

Based on just two pages of posts this week it is a clear indication of how bad things are getting in college football. The drift is apparent. We could be looking at an NFL down the road with zero starting white wide receivers and perhaps few back ups as well. Same barren DB situation and a hell of a lot more non white QBs. A few but not a lot of white front seven players too. In other words a recipe of attrition where every one here at CF gets so dried out the site closes down due to disinterest.

Yes things are grim and one must have some hope to carry on. That is what college football is supposed to be about but when former walk on WRs Chris Finke and former kicker Will Hastings have evaporated into the no go zone it is hard to keep the chin up.

I will give up if I am forced to discuss all black match ups week in and week out.

But I will try to find at least a few cracks of hope most of which TwentyTwo and others have covered up above.

I was able to watch the Yale O in action on a local TV feed and JP Shofti put on a show. Ran away from a defender on his TD and piled up even more yardage on run backs. His WR mate Kubnik, see above, also put on a show. They spread Dudek out at WR early on but Yale is loaded with white skill players to cheer on.

The Air Force game was a disappointment. RB Remsberg was stuffed with a 9-9 stat line but did manage a 29 yard catch. But WR Waters put on a show see above. One Navy player popped off the screen. Sophomore S Evan Pochtman had an interception and was all over the field. Has speed and hits like a truck. One to keep an eye on. Was a former dual threat QB. Another sophomore safety who has been terrific is Iowa's Jack Koerner. He played an A plus game against Michigan in a hard fought defensive battle.

Speaking of which as mentioned above John Rhys Plumlee of Ole Miss is a legend in the making. Has real speed ( he ran a 6.4 60 in baseball camps) so get him in the open field and it is good night. Another white player off of the Taysom Hill family tree.

Also mentioned above was Miami's Tate Martell. His decision to transfer is so far a disaster. The new coaching staff at Georgia Tech has totally neglected speedster Noah Cottrell. And TT WR Mannix as mentioned above by Red raider has fallen into an abyss. Good grief. Three talented players going nowhere for different reasons. Any day now I figure Cottrell's body will be found in a trunk somewhere.

The Ohio State QB Fields is helped by the fact that their head coach Ryan Day has a brilliant mind. He put in clever plays to help overcome a tough Michigan State defense. Day will one day be a star NFL coach. Hyper smart.

And as bad as things are thanks TwentyTwo for showcasing Utah State LB David Woodward. Wonderful talent.

And despite the white DB attrition there are still some nifty white front seven players in college so on that score all hope isn't lost.

Just think of LBs Fisher and Gallagher at Northwestern. I noticed Colorado LBs Landman and Wells had a ton of tackles Saturday and Baylor LB Clay Johnston is a certifiable stud. There are others.

But the fill in Nebraska sophomore QB Noah Vedral was heroic in Nebraska's stirring win against tough Northwestern. He has real speed and had a 7-33 stat line running and completed the key pass that led to victory. Northwestern WR Riley Lees had a 7-49 stat line to go along with solid returning skills. He is getting more and more involved and is a junior.

We need better results next week in the worst way.

Here’s a recent article on Nathan Cottrell. Just reading it pisses me off, yeah let’s make our most athletic senior who has averaged 8!!! yards a carry our punt gunner and never let him play offense or even kick returner.

I feel really bad for seniors like Cottrell, Glines, and Finke. I believe all of them have used a redshirt season too so that has been out of the question.

McLane Mannix is in a little different boat though. He plays and he plays a lot, the issue is there is no full time player at TTU’s slot position. There are 3 guys that rotate in every other series which is digging into Mannix and Rigdon’s stats. Rigdon has been the starter and honestly has been more impressive than Mannix. Mannix’s stats are a little bit skewed because he dropped a 50+ yard pass this past weekend and had a touchdown called back the previous week.

One thing I noticed about about the Yale game was Dudek playing in the slot....
Lamar had more carries because he was the tailback more often than not, when both were on the field, ZD was in the slot...
Not good.

Couple of quick notes about the Penn State Purdue game. Purdue freshman DE George Karlaftis is living up to his hype. Tremendous game.

Also WR Speedster Dan Chisena was allowed to catch a pass for 6 yards. You see all of his long passes have been called back. And there was a S Drew Hartlaub citing. He recovered a fumble in mop up time playing on the defense. No need to put in a player with 4.2 speed when the game means something.

Yes, Karlaftis is a monster! Already has filled out his frame as a true freshman and he looks like a MAN out there, 8 TFL and 4 sacks through his first 5 career games. Speaking of incredible DL, Baylor’s James Lynch SHOULD be a first round pick whenever he enters the draft, he’s 6’4” 295lbs and he lives in the backfield. He already has 8.5 TFL and 6 sacks as a DT through 5 games (he is also versatile as he played DE as a freshman). I’m not excited to see Lynch across from my Red Raiders this weekend but I’m excited to get a good look at him and see what he can do.

Really bad news, Mizzou standout and 4 year starting LB Cale Garrett suffered a torn pectoral muscle in this past weekends game against Troy. He luckily went out with a bang having the best game of his career (6 tackles, 3 for loss, 1 sack, 2 QB hits, 2 INT, 1 TD). He suffered the injury in the 1st quarter and continued playing the rest of the game which makes his performance even more impressive. His season and career are done but he has likely solidified himself as a draft pick, however the injury will likely effect his stock. Lets just hope he is ready in time for the combine. As it stands he closes out his career with totals of 291 tackles, 26 TFL, 5 sacks, 6 INT, 2 FR, and 3 TD’s. Congrats Cale on an impressive career and best of luck in the recovery/draft process!
