Since '05, Baylor has started 6, 5, 9, 9, 10, 3, 6, 8, 8, 6, 7, and 6. They will start 6 in 2018. Charlie Brewer showed some potential as a true freshman starter and he has bulked up and I expect him to make big strides this year with a full offseason under his belt and an experienced offensive line in front of him. Most of the offensive line and backups are white which is a good sign. WR Trevor White was the kick returner last year but didn't do anything special, hopefully he can retain that job because I don't see him cracking the wide receiver rotation with how deep Baylors is. DT James Lynch was impressive last year as a true freshman and he earned some freshman All-American honors, I'm excited to see him as the full time starter in a year or 2. Starting MLB Clay Johnston is back again and hopefully he can stay healthy and reach 100 tackles.

QB Charlie Brewer
OL Jake Fruhmorgen
OL Sam Tecklenberg
OL Blake Blackmar
OL Patrick Lawrence

LB Clay Johnston

Key Backups: WR Trevor White, OL Josh Malin, OL Christian Beard, OL Ryan Miller, OL Henry Klinge, DT James Lynch, LB Chad Kelly

Thanks Raider.

This no fun team has been a tough ride for a long time. I did like the athletic Seth Russell years where he burned defenses with his speed and at one point looked like an NFL QB prospect. And they have sported some white defenders from time to time to be fair.

But there is little reason to believe this program will swerve off their caste course any time in the future.

One key recruit. WR Jackson Gleeson is a smooth great looking big play WR. He also has blinding speed!

Rhule names Brewer a co starter along with a transfer black quarterback. Another joke! black quarterbacks getting a huge push this year all over the place.

Some updates:

They moved James Lynch to DE and he is listed as a starter! TE Rob Saulin was moved to DT and he is listed as a backup, true freshman Christopher Henle is now listed as the starting TE with the starter possibly out for the season. Trevor White was unfortunately unable to retain his kick return position.

DE James Lynch (Soph.) 6'-4" 285lbs has become the Best Defender on the team...Highlighted on tonight's telecast. And just blocked FG vs. West Virginia.

LB Clay Johnston is a Tackling Machine
