Since '05, A&M started 8, 9, 8, 7, 9, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 3 whites. In 2017 they look to start 5.
Sumlin is one of the most talked about and hyped up coaches in CFB but has had three straight 8-5 seasons which is mediocre consdiering the hype and paycheck he receives.
Starkel received alot of buzz last year but it will be interesting to see how short the leash is on the talented Redshirt Freshman QB considering the hot seat Sumlin will be on and the DWF fan base and media pushing for the black quarterback to replace him the first chance they get.
Players to look out for include QB Jake Hubenak, OL Keelen Diesch, LB Mac Labhart, LB Cullen Gillaspia
