Bret Hundley love fest in the ESPN pregame, including the Gruden interview and a feature profile. I can’t imagine that a White backup QB, 5th round pick, making his 2nd career start would get any love.

Still, plenty of White players to watch tonight. Especially hope to see Zenner get an opportunity.

8 White starters for both teams, but Packers paying the price for drafting Hundley. A third round draft choice in his third year and they have no confidence in his ability to throw a forward pass. Going from Rodgers to Hundley is like downsizing from a Mercedes to a Pinto.

At this rate Zenner will be bounced out of Detroit next year. There are not many NEs to give him a real chance. His future at this point is bleak. The castesystem has another target in its sights.

Abdullah with a fumble. He has been a pretty mediocre RB since he came into the league.

Also, Hundley is in his 3rd year in the Green Bay system and does not look comfortable at all. What a contrast between him and Garropolo when he had to fill in for Brady in his second season. This should also drive down any sort of big off season trade for Hundley. On the other hand it makes AJ McCarron look much more appealing as a potential trade or signing in free agency (I believe he is an RFA).

Abdullah 19 carries for 46 yards, one touchdown (from four yards out) and one lost fumble. Of all players who continue to get opportunities because of their skin colour, he has to be right up there.

If he only has about 22 more carries he might just bring up the first 100-yard rushing game of his three-year career (of being anointed the starter every time he's been fit enough to play)

But having said that, Hundley makes him look like a capable NFL player...

The treatment of Zach Zenner epitomizes the caste system! A complete injustice and I think worthy of a lawsuit! This is outrageous. The fact he wasn't drafted. The fact he lead the NFL preseason in rushing yards and is not even deemed worthy a backup on a team of truly awful running backs. The black coach keeping whitey down. It really disgusts me what has happened to Zenner. I watched the Eagles traded for what could be the slowest running back I have ever witnessed in my life from the Dolphins...Ajayi...and wonder how the hell Zach Zenner doesn't dress! I caught the tail end of Ajayis td run and thought maybe it was an interception by a slow linebacker. Nope. New Eagles running back. Disgusting.

Hundley was a fifth round pick.

Weren't Pintos the cars that exploded on contact?

Abdullah benched by Caldwell, good riddance.

It's not even like they need a running game, Stafford is playing brilliantly. Dark-horse MVP candidate?

Abdullah is terrible. Waits too long watching his blocking develop and so any holes are closed by the time he starts to go forward, has very little elusiveness as he tends to run straight ahead until encountering a tackler, and isn't very fast. He's also small. Other than that he's a fine back with mouth watering upside, a big play waiting to happen that never does.

Zenner not getting any carries around the goal line considering the Lions red zone problems this year is ridiculous. Although Zenner is not really a power back he has had success around the goal line and the rest of the guys ain't getting it done. Heck even a Detroit sports reporter wondered why Zenner wasn't being given a chance. It's not a good sign that he isn't dressing either. Washington has not shown he is any kind of an upgrade and though the Lions will give him several years of opportunities, Abdullah hasn't done anything and now his fumble-itis is back. Might open a door for Zenner. Caldwell is a conservative coach and those guys do not like fumblers.

Gruden mentioned Jordy Nelson's "sneaky" speed, a racial qualifier I have not heard in a while. It's laughable to consider the top deep threat in the game having sneaky speed, as if anyone in the league hasn't seen him burn DB's. But that's standard caste-speak and Grunden while not the worst is certainly a member of that club. Gruden was actually pretty rough on Hundley at the end of the game, and they pointed out several times how much he fumbled, got sacked, and threw picks in college. Makes you wonder what anyone saw in him? I expect Callahan will be playing after a few more losses.

Really shows how stupid Green Bay is. Here's a team with championship expectations at the start of the season and they don't even back up Rodgers with a vet that could come in and at least be a game manager. Nope they have to go out on a limb with a black quarterback project and now they are screwed. Serves them right. They had a bit of the Patriots winning formula and they squashed it, now they are going to be crap. And I think Nelson is going to be unplayable in FF leagues by the end of the year.

Hundley and McCarthy have pretty much ruined my fantasy football season as I have Jordy on most of my teams.

BSPN has been invested in Hundley since his final college season. I remember they were hyping him up for the Heisman prior to his last year at UCLA and "Herbie" doing a segment with him. Now they are doing damage control and trying to hype him up/talk down his struggles. I cannot recall a mediocre back up QB being treated like this. Just really epitomizes the caste system especially at the QB position.

I'd really never watched Hundley much until tonight. Never say never is the old saying, but I'll be shocked if he ever becomes a quality NFL starter. He just looks like the classic black QB who can run and has a "cannon arm," but will never develop into a heady, quick thinking, competent pocket quarterback.

What they saw in Hundley was nothing more than a room brightening smile. Hundley really is a head scratching pick because as you say he wasn't even good in college. If the average fan could see that you'd assume people who get paid millions of dollars to draft players and build teams would know that too right? Are they really that stupid or do they know that sacrificing part of your team's success in order to push a racial agenda is all part of the program they signed up for?
