Since '06 ECU has had 7, 6, 4, 3, 9, 7, 11, 7, 3, 6 and 6 White starters. They are down to 4 in 2017.
The roster is a pretty big joke. In any article I have read they all cite the lack of a quality defense as a reason they struggled to 3-9 last year. In 2016 the team produced just 8 sacks and allowed 228.5 YPG rushing. They don't have one white defensive lineman on the roster and no white defensive players projected to start. Great illustration of the caste system in action.
