I'm not getting the WVU game on the tube.......but it looks like Sills has 2 TDs tonight so far. He and Trey Quinn are both now on the Biletnikoff watch list......Sills should be the favorite as he leads the nation in TD receptions.......

USC wasn't up to the task. I wish they had Gustin - their run defense has been bad. They have pulled Darnold and this is a blowout.

I'm watching the Michigan/Penn State game. Trace McSorley is an absolute stud. He's got over 350 yards of total offense and four total TDs (1 passing, 3 on the ground). Barkley definitely gets some hype for Penn State too, but Fowler and Herbstreit have been extremely complimentary of both McSorley and TE Mike Gesicki, even calling Gesicki a "great athlete!" Both of those guys should be in the pros. They've got a 4/5 white OL, a pretty white DL, and safety Troy Apke. I think them and Wisconsin are our best bets this year for a playoff team. Wisconsin won big again today and Penn State is throttling Michigan. It's nice to have the Nittany Lions up to No.2!

I think the same........need for Georgia or TCU to lose to get Wisconsin in the top four. What gets interesting is that UGA and Alabama will likely meet in the SEC Championship.......and one has to lose

Penn St goes to Ohio St next week. I hope they can pull out a victory and knock the buckeyes out of cheating there way back into the playoff again.

I'm hoping so as well, Leonardfan. The Buckeyes always seem to worm their way into the playoff somehow. I'm hoping they don't get that chance this year. If anybody can win in the Horseshoe, it'll be the Nittany Lions. I hope they don't let this beatdown tonight get to their head. Of course, Ohio State is on a bye this week, giving them extra time to prepare.

Michigan State also got a nice win today too to move to 6-1! Not too bad! Hopefully they can finish 2nd to Penn State in the Division.

Allen had a bad overthrow for an INT. I get the intrigue with him from a draft perspective - big, athletic, huge arm, good character. I am rooting for him - he just needs some polish to his game.

Another positive to Allen get alot of NFL attention is that it gives Andrew Wingard some additional exposure. He is all over the field and never seems to miss a tackle. I could see him having a Harrison Smith like rise prior to the draft if he decides to declare. He was already viewed favorably coming into the season.

LB Leighton Vander Esch for Boise St. is all over the field. He should be another next level player and fairly high draft pick.

Laird ended up with 130 rushing yards on 28 carries along with the 2 td in Cal's OT loss to AZ. 172 totals yards including his receiving yards.

This kid is one of the top 3 running backs in the Pac 12 in my opinion. His stats would be even better but he has
to share the ball with another running back. Great game by Cal but they came up 1 pt short. They are really starting
to play alot better and Laird is the main reason i.m.o. The kid can do it all. I love watching him play.

Wait till the Troll Army figures out it can troll the big college team's players into TNB and then into destruction.

Perhaps a slight improvement over previous two weeks. One name that is popping up is Central Michigan's DE Joe Ostman. He had 4 sacks yesterday and I heard he was a complete terror. Speedsters like Andy Isabella and Will Hastings caught three passes between them I think but at least they were over 20 yards. The dink and dunk routine to white WR's gets old after a while. Even though they lost Iowa's Matt VandeBerg had one big splash play and finished with a 3-90 stat line. If he can squeeze into the combine and test well he will get drafted but he may not get invited based on his numbers. And speaking of splash plays as mentioned several times above David Sills had another fantastic night and he is the best surprise this year in college football. He is this years college version of last year's NFL version, Adam Thielen. But I noticed he had those big stats early and unlike black WR's who often get to PAD their stats Sills was "quiet" for the rest of the game. Always seems to be that "lets pull it back some" when it comes to white skill players heading for a huge day. And Trey Quinn, see above posts, is showing up on some 2019 NFL draft boards. Nice job LSU you bunch of caste bastards. Too bad Cody Thompson is out for the year with Quinn and Sills he would be the third part of a great trio.
I agree with the posts above with Celtic and others about Mayfield. He did something yesterday I would like to see more of which is run and if he was black he would be running much more but he showed very good wheels. As did other QB's yesterday including Fitzgerald, Dungey ( man is that guy athletic too bad he plays for Syracuse) and McSorely. Penn State will be in the biggest game of the year next week when they play at Ohio State. I watched a lot of the Cal game and Laird looked good.
But I would be remiss if I don't finish off this segment with my weekly Zane Dudek report as Yale played Penn. I actually got to watch the game on TV. 22 mentioned WR Justin Watson of Penn above and without question some scouts are looking at him. He had a 10-120 line with a TD and looked good. As with any Ivy League player if he gets drafted it will likely be the 6th or 7th round. He is one of those 7th-FA border players but if he tests well and continues to play at a high level he could get drafted.
Dudek like Watson will be a four year player--he goes to Yale no early entry for sure--and he splits carries with a burly RB. He was named Player of the Game after a 12-103 TD stat line. He is solidly built and deceptively strong but not all that big. He pushes the pile forward and has nifty cutting moves and great vision. His speed is evident when he bolts out of the back field running a pass pattern. As time goes on he will get to polish up his receiving skills and perhaps return some punts to help his NFL cause. Best comparison at this early stage is a young fresh legged Danny Woodhead with perhaps a higher ceiling. Very impressed. Too bad the rest of college football doesn't have the racial make up of teams from the Ivy League.

NFL scouts want to know - does he project as a fullback or a slot receiver?

I am about to have a stroke watching the NFL today which is pure caste full steam ahead so to take pressure off the valve two minor notes about Saturday. VT slippery RB sophomore Coleman Fox had a 7-58 and 1 reception 20 stat line in a romp see the always excellent 22 post above. Also Arizona underclassman LB Colin Schooler #7 is emerging as a player.
