2017 Charlotte 49ers

Entering their third season in the FCS, Charlotte started 7 whites in 2015 and 5 last year. Ex-Miami QB, and brother of Panthers TE Greg Olsen, Kevin Olsen, started for the team last year but was indicted on rape charges and dismissed. A black quarterback has replaced him, but the starters will remain at 5 again this year. In what is literally the strangest racial starting 22 make up I have seen in several years of write ups, four of these starters will be on the defensive side of the ball. Sophomore starting S Ben Deluca will be a name to track for the coming year. Not much to root for on this deep that probably won't be contending for anything anytime soon.

Finished Sophomore campaign with 102tkls and led nation in forced fumbles with 5! He SHOULD be on NFL Draft Boards going into next season!
