Since '05, Baylor has started 6, 5, 9, 9, 10, 3, 6, 8, 8, 6, and 7 whites. This is an example of a caste team that has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Epitomizing what is wrong with the culture surrounding college football today, Baylor came under scrutiny for a number sexual assault scandals surrounding their players. Art Briles departed over the controversy and QB Jarrett Stidham elected transfer. Left over now are his two former back ups who are battling with black quarterback Anu Solomon, a senior transfer from Arizona, for the starting job. There is not much depth as this team drops down to 6 (possibly 5) starters this year, and it remains to be seen what direction first year HC Matt Rhule goes with this team.

Offense -
QB - Zach Smith or Charlie Brewer (in three way battle for starting job w black quarterback)
TE - Jordan Feuerbacher
C - Sam Tecklenburg
RG - Blake Blackmar
RT - Patrick Lawrence

Defense -
MLB - Clay Johnston

If Rhule was smart he would just play Zach Smith at qb. He played well last year when pressed into action as a freshman. I don't understand the allure of the poly Solomon - richrod bailed on him for a scatter shot armed black quarterback.

I find the whole graduate transfer thing to be a slippery slope when dealing with QBs. Both Florida and UNC will probably hand the job off to mediocre graduate transfer black quarterbacks this year - in floridas case I do not care since that putz mcelwain seems intent on building a nonwhite qb depth chart anyways. But for UNC why not just let one of your young qbs start this year and see what happens rather than push it off for an extra year.

The Dakota Prukop expirement failed at Oregon but they were wise enough to throw in Justin Herbert to get some playing time and it will pay off this season.

Rhule expectedly gives the QB job to Solomon.
