Since 2005, Wyoming has started 15, 17, 14, 16, 15, 13, 14, 12, 11, 13, and 11 Whites.

The 2016 Wyoming Cowboys look to start 15 Whites.

Offense:
QB Josh Allen
LT Zach Wallace
LG Chase Roullier
C Charlie Renfree
RG Kaden Jackson
RT Ryan Cummings
FB Drew Van Maanen
TE Jacob Hollister
WR Jake Maulhardt
WR Tanner Gentry

Defense:
DT Chase Appleby
DT Connor Cain
LB D.J. May
LB Lucas Wacha
FS Andrew Wingard

The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie, WY which is 89.5% White and 1.3% black according to the 2010 US Census.

The projected number of White starters on Wyoming's football team is 15/22 which is 68.2%.

This means that White football players are underrepresented by 21.3 percentage points (89.5% - 68.2%) given the geographic location of the University.

Go Wyoming Cowboys! HC Craig Bohl(former North Dakota St.) knows how to assemble powerhouse teams and still recruit and utilize local white talent that would otherwise be ignored. Looking forward to catching a couple of their games. Gentry at WR is one to watch.

I looked forward to Wyoming coming down to Provo as it always meant watching lots of good White players on both teams!

Wyoming QB Josh Allen seems to be generating buzz as an NFL draft prospect even though he is only a RS sophomore. This season I have been able to catch a few Wyoming games and it has been a fun offense to watch with Allen throwning to Gentry, Maulhardt and Hollister.

I read earlier in the season where Kiper compared Allen to Philip Rivers (no idea how he made that connection as they are not similar players at all) and just saw caste stooge Tony Pauline write this about Allen:

Josh Allen/QB/Wyoming: The Cowboys are one of the better stories from the 2016 season and a team I’ve enjoyed watching since September. And the more I watch the more I’m impressed by Allen who again showcased his awesome next level potential against San Diego State. The Aztecs defensive back seven possess near a handful of NFL prospects yet Allen sliced them up, throwing a pair of fourth quarter touchdown passes of 30 and 29 yards, which gave Wyoming the lead for good. Allen has next level size, arm strength, intelligence and poise. He can play the vertical game from the pocket and just as easily makes positive passes on the move. I presently grade Allen as a second round choice but unflinchingly believe he offers first round potential down the road.
