Wow! I thought there would be more posts on the WS. Admittedly, I haven't watched as much as I would have liked to. With that said, the series is tied 3-3 and there have been some great performances by the Cubs' Bryant and Co. Kris Bryant who was 2-17 going into game 5 hit his 2nd HR last night and going 4-5. Unsung hero Ben Zobrist is hitting .391 and went 2-4 last night. Rizzo is hitting .364, went 3-5 with a HR and 3 runs scores, Schwarber is hitting .333 in the series. Jake Arrieta got his 2nd win last night.

For Cleveland, Corey Kluber is 2-0 and will go for his third win tonight. Jason Kipnis is hitting .308 and hit his 2nd HR last night.

Huge game of Historical significance tonight! Game 7 for it all, doesn't get any better than this! I'll be pulling for the Indians but don't really care about the outcome, just want a well played competitive game!

Pretty exciting game so far with Bryant and Rizzo contributing to a Cubs 5-1 lead in the 5th. However, Kyle Hendricks while pitching well and not getting a 3rd strike call and should have been out of the inning, gets hooked with 2 outs in the fifth and now John Lester on the mound. A mistake? We'll see?

Wild throws and wild pitches and now it's 5-3. Should've left Hendricks in!!!!

Great to see Bryant score twice. And what a home run by Ross after the Indians had scored twice in the inning before!

It's down to Game 7. One of the droughts will end tonight.

The AP wire report in today's birdcage liner refers to Cubs reliever Aroldis Chapman as "atomic-armed." I've yet to run across that one when referring to black quarterbacks but I'll bet it's only a matter of time as that's a pretty good one. If Donovan McNabb could throw a football 80 yards with a flick of his wrist according to Crissie Collinsworth, surely some of the young up and coming black QBs must have "atomic arms." Because as we're constantly reminded, football players keep getting "bigger, faster and stronger" in spite of a growing volume of evidence that the sport pretty much sucks the way it's played by the current group of affirmative action-dominated hires. The AP writer who coined the term, if indeed he did, should be in line for a healthy pay raise.
So much for his "atomic" arm. I wanted the Cubs to win, but glad to see Chapman taken down a notch.

I guess chapmans atomic arm is good for giving up game tying game 7 home runs

Yeah, could you imagine the media hype if he would've come in and shut down the Indians to save the win? It would be unbearable.

Kipnis, 1-4 tonight with a run scored and before Guyer replaced Chisenhall, Chisenhall was 1-2 and threw a laser from RF to second getting Schwarber out trying to stretch a single into a double. Chisenhall has a cannon for an arm and of course it went unnoticed!

Throwing a 102 MPH fastball doesn't mean much if it doesn't have any movement.

Aroldis is about to blow it and achieve atomic armed Bartman status.

Spoke too soon. Heart of Cubs lineup is up in Schwarber, Bryant, and Rizzo. This is crazy.

Great game for sure, I've been switching between it and Fox News for hours. Hopefully it gets decided in the next inning or two and doesn't drag out to the point that a huge part of the audience is getting some shuteye for work tomorrow.

Edit: Oops, rain delay, lol
