Here are the starting white Terrapins for first year coach DJ Durkin. From 2005-2014, Maryland started 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 10, 8, 9, 8 and 6 white starters. There was no write-up last year, probably because there aren’t many white players to watch and the fact the team was garbage. At any rate, they bounce up to seven pale faces this year. There’s actually a bit of young defensive players on this team as well. Backups: QB Max Bortenschlager, RB/S Jake Funk (he’s listed at both spots), RT EJ Donahue, C Joe Marchese, DE Brent Kulka, DT David Shaw, and SLB Brett Shepard. I find it funny that TE Avery Edwards is a co-starter after leading Maryland’s TEs in receiving stats last year, especially given the guy he’s “co-starting” with has all of two receptions. Basically, maybe a future team to support, but not now.

Offense

QB – Perry Hills

TE – Avery Edwards

LT – Michael Dunn

LG – Mike Minter

C – Brendan Moore

Defense

DE – Roman Braglio

WLB – Shane Cockerille

Qb Caleb Henderson transferred to UMD from UNC a couple weeks back. He should be one to look for next season and beyond. Is it me or does it seem Perry Hills and Rowe have both been in college a long time?

Good article on Terrapin DE Roman Braglio(6'2 262). He put up 42tkls and 3sks, but played the whole season with a broken hand. He's a long shot and plans to workout at Maryland's pro day and pre training for the draft in Atlanta. If and when he's purged from NFL he plans to run his family farm!

Keep an eye on him Tuesday as his team faces Boston College in their Bowl Game!
