Cal vs Hawaii starts the season tonight.

Looking to see Davis Webb elevate his draft stock this season!

Nice run by Davis! Cal and Washington St. Are my dark horse teams to root for in Pac-12, Stanford being my favorite obviously.

I would add the Huskies as well. Peterson is quietly whitening up that program and has a real good young qb in Browning.

As for Cal, it has not been totally cohesive on offense but playing against Hawaii they are afforded to make some mistakes. Hopefully the offense continues to gel and the other white WRs get involved as well.

Week 1 continues tonight. Don't really agree with having so many games on a thursday night but oh well.

I'm really looking forward to Stanford vs Kansas State. It's a game that worries me since KST is a tough White team and Stanford got off to the poor start last year. Their ugly lose to Northwestern basically torpedoed their playoff chances.

Definitely the most white friendly game taking place this week!

Understand the concern...but different set of circumstances..that was an 11:00am kickoff CST at Northwestern....thats 9:00 a.m. Stanford time...they were sleepwalking...this is a Night game at Home...tough game for sure...but you can bet they remember that!

Oregon State/Minnesota on Big 10 Network....unfortunately Cable provider doesn't have this channel

I don't follow college football much and don't have cable. What games would be worth watching this Saturday?

Tennessee is so overrated! Being dominated by Appalachian St right now!

black quarterback Lamar Jackson of Louisville had 8 tds against a horrid Charlotte team. Media will hype him up as something special but these are garbage stats folks vs cupcake opponent...

This Vandy vs South Carolina is another SEC snooze fest! Both offenses have struggled . Vandy leads 10-3 in the 3rd quarter.

WKU QB Mike White was 25-31 517 yds 3 tds but we won't hear much about that on BSPN.

Nice performance by White, he's a USF transfer if I remember correctly!

so i clicked on a random game as i relaxed this evening waiting for the Stanford-Kansas State contest, and it turns out that White athletes are pretty damn good at playing defense ...

U Albany only started two blue collar overachievers of their defensive 11 against heavily favored Buffalo, but its readily apparent they are their two most impactful. redshirt junior outside linebacker Michael Nicastro is all over the field, his golden locks flying like Thor's. he had an interception on the game's opening series, returning it nearly for a score. (the touchdown thereafter, by the way, was from a White quarterback passing to a White fullback.) Nicastro destroyed his knee in this same game a year ago, but he appears to be fully recovered. the team captain is a man amongst (black) boys.

in the secondary, redshirt senior safety Kyle Sakowski is a BIG hitter. in just the first 4 minutes of game play, he's already LIT UP a couple of Buffalo Bulls. i don't know how good a player he is, but the dude can HIT!

one wonders, then, why there are so few White players out on the field in this (or virtually any) collegiate football game. Buffalo, for instance, didn't start a single cracker.

as an aside, Albany has an early 7-0 lead in their upset bid.

sophomore tailback Ian Eriksen has 53 yards and a touchdown on just 7 carries in the first half of Eastern Michigan's opener. Eriksen was regarded as the top running back in the state of Michigan as a senior in high school, yet "surprisingly" wasn't recruited by either of the big schools there. "weird," huh?
