Dekker has 10pts off the bench in 1st half on very efficient shooting! Believe he's 5 for 5.
Nice to see Dekker getting his feet wet. He is very good in transition and could become a real fan favorite. It is too bad this Montiejunas salary dispute has dragged on. Is he the only player holding out for crying out loud we are desperate for white players and we have to deal with this? He may go play in Europe which would suck. I guess the problem is the Rockets are afraid of his past back issues but I hope he signs and with Dekker the Rockets would at least be watchable.

A word about Michael Jordan's Hornets. Jordan, even through his playing career where he caught a lot of guff for not being political enough never struck me as someone hung up on race. That said he has four white players getting decent minutes. Shooter Belinelli, big man Spencer Hawes, athletic Cody Zeller and rapidly improving Frank the Tank. Zeller is shooting 60% from the field so far. They are off to a nice start at 6-1. Take note NBA GM dickheads don't be afraid of playing multiple white players.

The baby faced assassin Gordon Hayward scored 29 points...7 rebounds....4 assist tonight Dude could have been on U.S. Olympic Basketball Team

Good to see Air Gordan back and lighting up the courts. He is a great all around player. There isn't much that he
can't do. He should be the face of the Utah Jazz as they continue to build for the present and future. It's seem like forever since the days of Stockton, Hornacek and Ostertag.

Porzingis went off tonight. 35 points and 7 rebounds. He's the next great White NBA star picking up the crown from the aging Dirk.
Yep! Could be a big night for us in the NBA! Love went 27/16......and several others are playing well early. I'm hitting the hay. Maybe you or Deadlift can post the stats later tonight!

BTW, Leuer went 17/9/3 off the bench in the NY/DET game

In watching the Charlotte/Memphis game, Frank Kaminsky has scored 20 points in 12 minutes off the bench! He is playing like he did at Wisconsin. Pretty exciting stuff!
22 in 13 minutes and a shot block on Randolph at the other end. Kaminsky doing it at both ends! Belinelli, Hawes, and Kaminsky all on the court at the same time trying to lead a comeback, but the guards keep turning the ball over!

A note on J.J. Redick. He had 20 last night on 4 of 7 shooting and hit all 9 of his free throws. He's now leading the league in 3pt%,(.493). He's only averaging 10 shots per game. He'd be averaging 20 a game if he could get 5 more shots off.
Kaminsky 23 last night in 20 minutes off the bench.

That was an NBA record for most points ever in the first quarter!! Way to go K-Love!

Not only was 34 points an NBA record for a 1st quarter, it was the 2nd most points in any quarter. Ironically, after the greatest 1st quarter in NBA history, Love only took 6 more shots the rest of the game. He finished 12/20 for 40 points. Incredibly efficient, but what the eff? Why wouldn't they keep feeding the hot hand? I can't imagine any black player in the league that would break a first quarter record and then be a decoy the rest of the game.
