Since '06, UNLV has started 9, 6, 9 , 8, 8, 5, 7, and 9 white players. Look for 7 or 8 this year. They are a bit of a punching bag in the Mountain West Conference and are not poised for lofty heights. Senior quarterback Blake Decker is well-regarded: incidentally, he walked on at BYU but couldn't stick there. New head coach Tony Sanchez was hired away from a local high school program, which makes for an interesting story. I think he is "White Hispanic."

QB: Blake Decker
LT: Kyle Saxelid
LG: Eric Noone
C: Will Kreitler
TE: Jake Phillips
FB: Mark Philippi

DT: Dominic Baldwin (?)
LB: Ryan McAleenan or Trent Langham

A rather boring roster with no white receivers or defensive backs in sight. There will be four Polynesians starting on defense and possibly just one white player. I'm interested to see how the high school football coach recruits going forward. However, no reason to wave a flag this season.
