DW, JL,

I must respectively disagree with the assumption that no one or two players can dominate. Up until the last 2 Majors, Rory and Jordan had won 4 Majors in row up until the British Open and Spieth could've won all 4 this year. Rory won 4 within a 4 year period.

I say this because, McIlroy and Spieth are very young, 22 and 26. When a dominant player comes along they generally win,(Majors), early and often as did Nicklaus and Woods.

I believe McIlroy or Spieth could be like Nicklaus or Woods if they want it bad enough. I'm not sure about McIlroy, but Spieth seems to want to win a lot of Majors and be number 1 in the world.

Spieth let it be known early what his goals were to win Majors and be number 1. He attained both at barely 22 years old. Now lets see how many Majors he wants!

I didn't write that no golfer can dominate, rather that one (or two or three) are not likely to dominate for a length of time. Only time will tell. Regardless, golf is in a great place now and for as far as the eye can see.
