I didn't see the match, but apparently, Greece had a lot of trouble finishing today; from the radio, it sounded like they had a good 5 or 6 chances to score.

Devans, I definitely will check the team sheet first; everything I've seen has England at 8 or more white starters, but this is England we're talking about here.

I suppose if they do indeed have only 7 whites, I'll have to cheer for Italy, even if they do have Ballotelli. ESPN just had a 20-30 minute feature on Ballotelli and how he's so "misunderstood." The commentators were saying "how far Ballotelli will take Italy" so all of Italy success will be given to him. I suppose I'd rather see him and 10 whites over anything less than 8 whites for England.

For Uruguay, Diego Forlan starting for Suarez!!

Well, guess I'll be cheering for Italy after all - Glen Johnson, Welbeck, Sterling, and Sturridge are all starting for England. Disgusting.

    Go Azzuri!

yes, they were unlucky, but colombia is a very good team, one of those that make this competition the blackest ever in my opinion
greece can still qualify for the next round

uruguay was at his best in 2010, they should have won the world cup back then
now they are the same team but too old
suarez and cavani don't come anywhere near the level forlan was at in the spanish league back then
but the media talk more about it because suarez plays in england and cavani is not white

    balotelli ruins it for italy
he had a bad season in a club that didn't qualify for any european competition after flopping in the english premier league, and he starts ahead of the top scorers of the league he plays in
    it perfectly makes sense

Only in this wacko PC world does that make any sense at all... Ballotelli sucks, and is extremely overrated. ESPN has been running specials on him all afternoon. I'm hoping for a goalless after until Ballotelli and the black English players get subbed off in the later stages of the game, during which the white players will make an impact. I really can't whole-heartedly cheer for Italy with him either... I suppose I hope the white players get all the goals. Like I've been saying, if Italy advances, Ballotelli WILL get all the credit, no matter what. I guess in the long run, it's a bit of a wash on these two. If England would whiten up a little, they'd be a great team. All their subs will be white tonight though.

Uruguay did look very slow out there today; Costa Rica looked the better team for the 2nd half.

From what I saw of him, he didn't stand out to me at all. I didn't watch Man U. very much this year, however.

Of course, even being injured in practice he's magically a "key" part of Hodgson's "plan" to take down Italy. :dodgy:

Lallana was the white player who got screwed over this time.

God forbid if Balotelli scores tonight, or any of the other games. His antics combined with the hype from the media will be insufferable. Why, oh why, did this disgusting African have to become part of Italy? There'll be a special place in hell for his Jewish parents who adopted and brought him to that country.

Sorry for the rant, I sometimes get extremely upset and frustrated with all this negro worship going on all around us.

I'm feeling pretty disgusted that he's a part of the Italy squad too. ESPN has been running stories on him all afternoon. All hell will break loose if he scores. Hell, he'll probably start drawing comparisons to the great Italian players of the past.

As overhyped as Balotelli is, Italy has 10 whites compared to 7 for England. No question in my mind who to cheer for.

Also, the likes of Sturridge, Sterling, and Welbeck are very over-hyped as well. They've been saying Sterling could win the game all by himself....:nono:

Literally right before the game started on ESPN they asked "What's Italy's key to winning?" and of course ESPN's canned response was Balotelli, Balotelli, Balotelli. Not like there's 10 other players on the team or anything.

Even during the match, Darke said something like, "maybe he can find Ballotelli or one of the others in the box," because you know, they don't have names either.

Marchisio scores a wonderful goal for Italy, while Sturridge gets a tap-in from a great ball by Rooney.

pirlo let the ball pass throught his legs though, to allow marchisio to shoot unmarked
    wonderful
pirlo is as good as ever (this season at juventus i read that he was getting older but it doesn't show right now)

and people will still say rooney doesn't score for england in world cups, look at what he does
rooney is one of the most hated white players
before the game in the french media all the talk was about how an english prostitute said that balotelli was better than rooney in bed
    i'm not even kidding

balotelli missed an easy header, luca toni would have scored that one - that's why he has scored more goals than balotelli this season
then he did well, almost scored from a difficult angle, great pass by pirlo once again on that one

True but still would rather have a team with one black than a team with 4 blacks.

Balotelli the benefactor of great play by white player, Balotelli is brilliant according to commentators.
