Despite Brazil’s unfortunate gift of a “win” over all-white Croatia, it was at least comforting to know that the host is vulnerable. An own-goal, defensive miscues, poor passing, a Croatian goal called back for a non-existent “foul,” a gifted penalty kick, and weak shots that would likely be have been saved by the world’s better goal keepers.

As others have mentioned, I’d much rather see the all-******* Cameroon advance ahead of Brazil. Perhaps Mexico and/or Cameroon can steal a fluke victory and eliminate them in group play, but I doubt it.

Jack Lambert, that picture of a young Miro Klose is a cool avatar! Do you think we’ll see the “Salto Klose” of old in this tournament? Let’s hope he can nab a goal or two and become (or tie) the all-time leader in tournament history. Just the other day, he eclipsed the legendary Gerd Müller as the all-time German scorer with 69 goals. Here are his 14 World Cup Finals goals…

Some amazing goals, particularly the long bomb from the German keeper at 9:20 when he scores a goal whilst sliding into England's Negro goal keeper and kicking him in the balls...

I just came in turned on the Mexico v Cameroon match and a goal was scored. But, no. It was disallowed, presumably for offside. Yet, the replay showed a Mexican corner kick that came off the head of a Cameroon player then was knocked into the net by Dos Santos. How is that not a goal? The linesman's flag went up but the ref should've been well positioned to see the Cameroonian touch the ball. The commentator claims it was the third time the Mexicans put the ball in the net, none of them counting! I don't know yet about the previous two "goals" but that third one definitely should've counted. This World Cup is a farce.

Also, how do you get offside on a corner kick?

they thought a mexican player touched the ball before it came to dos santos in an offside position, but actually no mexican touched the ball
at one point the referee didn't give an obvious corner kick to mexico (really an obvious one) and it's important because they are vulnerable with a black goalkeeper and black defenders on corner kicks

This game should have been refereed by a German, Englishman, Italian wo referee this type of games at least once a month. If you want a Japanese referee, let him conduct a Switzerland-Honduras game or something similar...

That would violate FIFA's sacred equality agenda.:icon_rolleyes: So you have a Japanese messing up the first match now a couple of columbian officials messing up Mexico v Cameroon. Next up Affirmative Action pilots to fly the teams between cities!

I cannot watch this any longer, the game is absolute shi*.

If the latrinos can't score against Langooroon, they'll be in deep trouble.

Well,if this ends in a draw, atleast Croatia have little to worry.

A Mexican goal finally counts. This Cameroon team is just awful. At least half the teams in Europe that did not qualify for the WC could beat these guys.

Thanks Thrashen!! :) Klose is my favorite player as well. I sure hope we see the "Salto Klose" this WC!! I really think we will... From what I've been reading, he might not start, but he'll be in the "Super Sub" role if that's the case. I'm really he'll get those two goals to eclipse Ronaldo as the all-time leading WC goal scorer!!

Mexico scores!! The refs couldn't take that one away from them! 1-0 Mexico.

every world cup they tell us about how dangerous they are going to be because all of their players play in top european clubs etc
who was suposed to be an offensive midfielder in that game? song? mbia? enoh?
all of them are obscure defensive midfilders, but that's all cameroon has
that's all you need to know about cameroon: a bunch of affirmative action players in european clubs in obscure defensive roles for the most part

that's the 5th game they lose in a row in a world cup

Spain starting Costa tonight. So 10 whites* and 1 mestizo against 8 whites and 3 blacks for the Dutch (De Jong, De Guzman, and Martins Indi). Go Spain!!!

*Again, counting David Silva here.

I remember hearing about this guy. I heard he didn't want to play for Canada because they weren't very good. His brother plays for Canada. These mercenaries and these stupid relaxed citizenship rules are making a mockery of the sport at international level.

Speaking of mercenaries, Brazilian fans are booing Diego Costa every time he touches the ball.

De Guzman is absolutely terrible for the Dutch. He's playing like a Canadian midfielder would. I think the only reason he's starting is because they lost both Kevin Strootman and Rafael Van Der Vaart to injury.

What a ball by Daley Blind!

He's playing in the Dutch league with Ajax, while failed pieces of fullbacks like Clichy who has never recorded assist in his life continue to play for the top clubs in the PL!:mmph:

Robin Van Persie with his quite brilliant header, again showing what whites are capable of!

Hell a black couldn't even dream about that header, let one execute.

Both the Dutch midfielders,De Guzman and De Jong are contributing nothing offensively and aren't plugging the midfield, despite being defensive-midfielders.

Everything offensive has come only from the white quartet of Persie,Sneijder,Robben and Blind.

Great finish by Arjen Robben to give Holland the lead!! 2-1 Holland

Philosopher, I agree, De Jong and De Guzman are wastes of space for Holland. Again, injuries to the white Dutch midfielders allow these guys to play.
