whats up with Mark Weisman? why is he not doing well, he had 24 carries for 76 yards, second straight week 20+ carries not cracking 100, i saw he got plenty of short carries last time so maybe thats it. 4 tds in the past two weeks so must at least be lots of goal line carries. but he has to do better than 3.4 ypc and a long of 19 for the season. Maybe its the jewis genes ;)

Iowa has absolutely no threat in the passing game. their "playmakers" on the outside couldn't scare a baby with the hiccups.

the fact that their offensive linemen are able to create any running room at all is a testament to their talent (especially Brandon Scherff). Weisman is a terrific power back. that being said, opposing defenses are daring the Hawkeyes to throw the ball and loading up against the run, but they've no one (wideouts, that is) to throw it to. too bad Iowa has eschewed all the White wideouts that historically have been so successful for them over the years.

Iowa hasn't had a white speedster at WR playfor them last couple years. Should get back to it they've had success in the past with them. Plenty of underrated prospects in Midwest..

@JC on the same page buddy!

the White kids on the Air Force defense have absolutely destroyed the Boise State offense tonight. led by 3 interceptions (and a whole bunch of tackles) by sophomore safety Weston Steelhammer (how cool is that name?!?), the Falcons forced 7 turnovers.

White cornerback Gavin McHenry (who ran a 6.77 in the 60-meters this past indoor track season) was in absolute lock-down mode and wasn't rattled by a couple of penalties called on him late.

for the Broncos, outstanding wide receiver Matt Miller missed the second half with an injury. he returned to the sideline wearing a boot. i hope it's not serious.

I thought the last PI against the white CB for Air Force was kind of ticky tack myself., good to see a progressive team with white talent prevail. Sure better than watching SEC roided up CBs throwing themselves on the ground while they dream up ways to spend their signing bonus on "bling" (cuz they got hip swivel an stuff)

Alot of good posts on here. It's a shame some of the Caste teams like Florida St and Texas A&M won close games. On a positive note, here's a young talent I haven't seen mentioned yet.

Ohio freshman running back A.J. Ouellette has now had back to back 2 touchdown weeks. A.J. had 132 yards against Idaho last week and 87 on only 11 carries yesterday. He's 5'-10" and 195 pounds. Here's his bio:

Four-year varsity letterwinner in football, wrestling and track... Helped Covington High School to four straight league championships... Was named Most Valuable Player in the Dayton area All-Star game... Holds several high school rushing records, including the school standard for yards in a season (2,535) and yards in a game (353)

With a background in track, he must have good speed. The wrestling background makes me think he's got good agility and toughness. This kid could be the next Beau Blankenship.

Nelson Spruce has 19 receptions. 19.
Holy Cow! For 176 yards and 3 touchdowns. Spruce now leads the FBS in yards by about 40 over the afflete on Alabama (who didn't play this week) and leads in touchdowns with 10. The next closest guy only has 7. People need to start getting behind this guy for the Biletnikoff Award.

Nice find Freethinker. Spencer McInnis out of Miami of Ohio is another RB to keep an eye on.

i figured their might be a reason for his low production, usually coaches dont keep feeding a White rb the ball if he isnt averaging a higher ypc.
