Jacksonville wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan uses some unique Caste language to describe Jeremy Ebert. I guess this is a compliment:

A sleeper candidate is Ebert, who was signed May 22 after he was released by New England and cleared waivers. The Jaguars started working him in the slot and outside.

“I like the kid,â€￾ Sullivan said. “He has a usefulness and spunk about him. He was with Wes Welker last year in New England and that was a great thing for Jeremy, to see what kind of trooper Wes is.â€￾

Jeremy Ebert continues to challenge Jerheme Urban's hallowed record for most times signed, cut, signed to the practice squad, cut, signed to the 53 man roster, cut, signed to the practice squad, cut, signed to the 53 man roster, repeat ad infinitum. At least this time he has a chance to show his talent as the #3 receiver thanks to injuries to no-name blacks with tremendous upside:

Jaguars signed WR Jeremy Ebert from their practice squad. Ebert will serve as the No. 3 receiver and contribute on special teams with both Stephen Burton (concussion) and Mike Brown (back) ruled out for Week 4. The Jaguars have also promoted WR Tobais Palmer to their 53-man roster.

The Jaguars are bad, real bad.

Why not give Tebow a chance? At the very least it would make the team interesting to the fans.

They can't give him a chance. It will rain down too much hate from the sports media. And he's too raw. He won't light it up right away so the criticism will get nuclear. There isn't any patience for guys that have played well let along one that has to prove himself.

I used to think that them taking Tebow would be good for them because of the local angle. But there is no "local" anymore. Everyone's on the same info grid. Jacksonville is New York is Chicago is LA. They all read ESPN and the AP news feed, MSM and Yahoo and they will all say the same thing: Tebow sucks! It will be beat into their heads and nothing will stop it. Not a playoff appearance, not a post season win, nothing. So why would the management want to risk that and the wrath of the league?

If it was all really about the "money," then Jacksonville would have signed Tebow long ago. The supposed "circus" he brings with him is all media driven, with their ceaseless campaign of hate against him. And an organization wanting to attract attention to itself, as all sports teams should, would obviously love a fan magnet, an NFL apparel magnet, like Tim Tebow.

There is only one explanation for why a Thaddeous Lewis, a Jason Campbell, and so many other putrid QBs are permitted to start in this league, but the best college player in NCAA history isn't allowed to play.

The success of a finely chiseled, deeply religious young white man like Tebow would be a tremendous threat to everything these corrupt clowns stand for.

Wide receiver Justin Blackmon has been suspended for substance abuse. He will get endless chances despite the suspension.

Meanwhile Matt Jones screwed up once and was blackballed.

With Blackmon suspended the next question is will the Jags go for a token white WR to replace him, such as Ebert who has been on the team recently, or Jordan Shipley who was with them last year and then inexplicably cut to start this season.

anybody know what he took? because most dwfs dismiss weed but apparently coke is terrible, even though tons of black players do it, the only thing is coke gets out of your system in 3 days. Ricky Williams was known for being just a big "pothead" and it wasn't considered as bad as what Matt Jones did. But I had a friend who worked at an upscale place in Nola and he did tons of coke.
