Collins ran a 4.88, which is painfully slow to be a starting running back. Yeldon is 18 years old and runs a (reported) 4.4.
you said all things being equal, Collins was already bulked up to 230 by the time he was a senior in high school, added another 24 by the time he ran that 4.88. Yeah Lacy ran a reported sub 4.5 40 as well but he has ran over 40 yards, what twice this year?, I think over 30 3 times. Yeldon also has two runs over 40, but 4 over 30 on lesser carries (those of course include the ones going over 40) so he might have more top end speed but weighs less. When you have 4 different guys come out and produce like that (Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, Yeldon) its seems like more of a plug and play type thing rather than Alabama striking gold with 4 different backs. Richardson was supposed to be more talented than Ingram and was super hyped up and he has been pretty slow in the NFL. Alfred Morris 2nd in the league with a 4.67, it doesnt take great top end speed to be great. If Blount wasnt lazy, and could pass block and receive, he would still be producing as a runner at 4.7. LeRon McClain ran for like 800 yards one year and his 40 was 4.88.

He also ran a 4.8 in high school at 230. But you're right, I shouldn't use the 40 yard dash to discredit a player when it is routinely used on our guys.

Dummy thug affelet Darnell Docket twitted Ms Webb, Ms Alabama, AJ McCarron's gorgeous girlfriend to grab some wings "wiff" him and then hit da stripe club. The media treats it as no big deal. Can you imagine say RG3's white girlfriend was twitted to go out by some 3rd or 2nd tier White NFL lineman? It would be non stop hysteria.

AS if, a woman of Ms Webb's class and upbringing would even be seen with an affelet of Docket's being. Negro Please!!!

Glad to see that McCarron twitted "keep dreaming dudes(affelets), not going to happen"

Blacks are absolutely not to be trusted at all around pretty white girls, if that isn't already blatantly obvious. They've been using twitter extensively over the years to prey on young white girls (not unlike Nigerian scammers) that are following the likes of Justin Bieber or Laga Gaga. They also like making death threats to politicians (with full immunity) and bragging about crimes they've just committed.

And people wonder why certain areas of this country are getting whiter and others are getting darker (or being ENRICHED WITH DIVERSITY, as the cultural marxists love to spout).

I vividly remember being in Junior High and having "To Kill A Mocking Bird" shoved down our throats. Black men were perfect before desegregation and white women were just lying about being raped in shame of their actions...:icon_rolleyes:

I know I started losing interest in bowl games other than the two or three most important ones after there started being so damn many of them.

I've been thinking there's 10-12+ too many bowl games, Teams should have 7 or 8 wins to be bowl eligible. In the end, they need to scrap the bowls and have a playoff system (conference champs + a couple "at large" bids, etc.).

One of the most stunning numbers of the 2013 bowl season was the announced attendance at the Jan. 2 Sugar Bowl: 54,178. A game featuring Florida, an SEC powerhouse ranked No. 3 in the country, produced the 79-year-old event's lowest attendance total since 1939. Gators fans purchased just 6,500 of their allotted 17,500 tickets to the game.

Elsewhere, Florida State sold less than a third of its 17,500-seat allotment to the Orange Bowl, and Nebraska sold only roughly 4,000 Capital One Bowl seats. Even LSU and Clemson failed to sell nearly 13,000 combined tickets for their intriguing, geographically convenient matchup. On the bottom end of the spectrum, the San Jose State-Bowling Green Military Bowl in Washington D.C. had an announced attendance of just 17,835 -- and in many cases, actual attendance is even lower than the announced figure.

Let's see, Florida played Louisville, an almost pure coal bowl. Same with LSU and Clemson. Florida State, another nearly pure coal team, played in the Orange bowl, a bowl in the same state as them, and their fans still didn't travel to see them even though it would've been cheap to do so.

Also, if you think about it, a good chunk of the number of tickets sold probably went to the families, extended families, and friends of the players on the team as well as various media personnel.

Could it be that Whites, especially in a terrible economy, are no longer willing to shell out what it costs to go to one of these games to cheer for a team that looks like it just got off a boat from the Ghana?

I'd like to think that DWFs might be wising up but the most likely reason is simply that people would rather was a game at home on their 52" HD Plasma than watch a game from a crappy seat in a stadium.
