I'll get it started.

It was nice to see Orel Hershiser added to the ESPN main crew.

It sucks to still see Joe Morgan and his butt-kissin' sidekick Jon Miller yuckin' it up, though.

I expect to see a continuation of the trend to better defense and more speed overall in the game as we move farther from the steroid days.

The Yankee OF looked O.K. with Nick Swisher and the speedy Brett Gardner out there.

The Red Sox appear to have bought into the idea that they need more minorities on the roster to win.

As always, there will be plenty of great performances turned in by white players in MLB, which is something to cheer about on CF.

Bud Selig is supposed to retire in 2012, IIRC, after sorting out the impending labor mess next season.

My guess is that he will be named "Consultant Emeritus" for Major League Baseball with the assignment of coordinating season-long celebrations in 2013 to remember the 50th anniversary of the MLK "I Have A Dream" Speech, followed by a grand shindig to celebrate a half century of the Civil Rights Act in 2014, and wrap it up with a remembrance of the Voting Rights Act in 2015.

I disagree.
The steroid pipeline has dried up because players realize there's just too much chance of getting caught now. However, that will drive them to HGH, which, by most accounts, is even more effective than traditional anabolic steroids. Since MLB still can't test for HGH, usage will increase dramatically. I'm expecting to see massive power numbers this season. And a suspicious 'return' to power-hitting by some previously washed up steroid users (Adrian Beltre, I'm looking in your direction).
Prediction: A-Fraud will lead the American League in homers throughout the year. Ryan Howard will lead the National League. Can't predict the final victor, but I expect the number for both leagues to be near 60.

Unrelated to that issue, I think the Angels will win the American League. The Phillies will win the National League.

Roy Halladay will not return to his previous dominant form as expected.

Rick Ankiel will start slow but finish with a career defining season for Kansas City.

Anthony Reyes will throw a no-hitter for Cleveland.

Dusty Baker will burn out all his pitchers and Cincinnati will fall out of contention by mid-August.

Seattle's turnaround will be revealed as a mere fluke. They will return to sub-.500 baseball this season.

Cubs fans will tell everyone that "This is the year". The Cubs will implode. I will laugh.

ESPN will demand a rule change due to something that happens in a Yankees and/or Red Sox game.

Torii Hunter will violently attack a white player without provocation, and he will get away with it.

With his "signature" law passed and the socialization of America now on autopilot, I expect Obama to start pulling strings behind the scenes to force personnel reorganizations on and off the field in Major League Baseball (with the enthusiastic cooperation of ESPN, of course). "Racial Fairness" laws are probably on the near horizon, which would designate strict minority percentages in all fields of employment.

The "racial scouting" which I pointed out last year (it's here on CF somewhere, just search for "Buck Showalter") will be pushed HARD by ESPN and other sports news outlets. Blacks can't compete on the field of play, so the league will artificially inflate their numbers the same way they have done in football. "Supple palms" and "Dark Eyes" will become baseball's equivalent of "loose hips" and "room brightening smiles". Once these ideas become ingrained in the minds of DWFs, you can't ever get them out.

Here is a list of white starters, from Yahoo sports depth chart this morning. Not sure how accurate it is, but I think its pretty good. AL teams include the dh. Not including pitchers

AL east Boston 5, Baltimore 5, Tor 4, Tampa Bay 4, NYY 4
AL central Det. 4, Cleveland 3, Chisox 4, Minnesota 6, KC 5
Al west LA 2, Oak 7, Seattle 3, Texas 5.

NL east NYM 4, Florida 6 (including two very white looking Hispanics),
Atl 4, Wash 5, Phil 3.
NL central Chi Cubs 2, Pitts 5, Milw 4, Houston 3, Cinc. 4, St Louis 5
NL west, Arizona 5, SF Giants 4, SD 2, LA 3, Col 7.

some observations. The New York teams are getting a little whiter it seems. As are this years Giants and Mariners. Also, even the Angels are improving a little. OTOH, Padres and Astros are going in the wrong direction.
Most divisions have some clear teams to root for, from a CF perspective. Col, St Louis (mostly white bench), Florida, Oak, Minnesota and maybe Bosox.
As a Giants fan, I feel safe to root for this team, for now, and also Molina won't be catching for them forever, so another white starter is in the Giants pipeline.

I'm lovin' the Cardinals/Reds game right now. Two very White-friendly teams. CF Rasmus for St. Louis looks great. Very athletic. He's already hit a homer and ran down a deep ball with a leaping catch against the wall...showing great speed.

Been real busy lately, but I'll have the MLB team-by-team rundowns up in the next day or so. Good analysis by the guys in already.

Rasmus is a stud. A former top prospect, he's got all five tools.

Thanks for updates, itsme, also, if Sizemore is starting for Tigers, that makes five whites, including Damon. Isn't Russell Martin of the Dodgers white?

I think we count the white jews as white, I know we count Igor Olshanksy in the NFL. So the Red Sox have 5 white starters this year. Racist Joe Morgan and Fatboy sidekick John Miller were talking up the "great" Mike Cameron. What has this guy even done? Also, I expect Fat Papi to take up a spot in the batting order again this year.

My quasi-DWF buddy was telling me about that "first" HR by "Jascum Geyward". Hopefully, it's a fluke & he'll scrub out and get send back to the minors.

The Mets OF with Jason Bay and Jeff Franceour should be more productive this year without losers like Gary Sheffield prancing around on a daily basis.

andre ethier is definitely not asian. he is half french canadien, half mexican, born and raised in Arizona. by looking at him it is clear that he is definitely more then half of european descent. also russell martin's is one of the lightest skinned black people i have ever seen, i am sure he is more then half of european descent. also 3 of 5 of the dodgers starting pitchers are white, as is their closer.

For argument's sake, I included Andre Ethier as a white starter in the team-by-team rundown, but not Russell Martin. I figured that if we count Johnny Damon (who is half-Thai) as a Caste-buster, we could count Ethier, who is French and Mexican, as mentioned above.

question, would you count a full asian person as a caste buster? just curious.

In my opinion, it depends on the sport. I wouldn't consider a full Asian person to be a Caste-buster in baseball, as the Japanese have their own, very competitive league. Asian people in football and basketball are few and far between, and often have to battle the same "lacking athleticism" stereotypes that white players face in those sports.

Just my opinion, though.

PB, I don't consider slopes to be "caste busters" in baseball. However, in basketball or football, they do indeed face some of the caste-esque hurdles as do White athletes (who are genetically superior to orientals).

Hank Aaron thinks Jason Heyward is going to save baseball by getting more blacks interested in the sport again.

For a change, Yahoo Sports! has some good discussion under the article:

"Aaron says Heyward can help what ails baseball"

I took the time to skim through the current 150 posts and give a thumbs up to the appropriate ones.

Considering the number of posters trashing Aaron for his comments that baseball doesn't have enough black Americans and doesn't do enough to change the numbers, I've got to believe that the truth about racism against whites in sports that CF has been putting out for several years now is finally having more of an impact on even some of the DWFs.

Yeah, and Dontrelle Willis was going to interest blacks in pitching again.

zzzzzz yawn snore

The boys on Sports Center were actually comparing Heyward to Aaron, saying that the sound Heyward's bat makes when it hits the ball is the same one Aaron made. This after one game and one homerun. So typical of the media, to take one or two baseball games out of a long six month season to cite trends.

The Heyward hype reeks of desperation to me. The White elites seem to have so much invested in blacks dominating in football, basketball and baseball. Meantime, their own social policies keep shrinking the pool of even marginal black athletes to promote through affirmative action and media adoration. And us getting the truth out there does seem to be opening the eyes of more of the DWFs.

The Rangers will have five everyday starters instead of four when the injured 2b Ian Kinsler comes back from the 15 day disabled list.

PhillyBird's excellent team by team rundown of the NL is now on the CF homepage. The AL is also done and should be posted later today.

It's amazing what only 13% of the population of this country demands simply because of their race...to hell with merit. They won't be happy until MLB implements the same affirmative action policies as the NBA and NFL do and become 70-80% of the players.

I'm not exactly sure what the percentage of blacks is in the MLB, but I'm guessing it's probably about the same percentage as their overall % of the population. In fact, they may be over-represented, based upon this.

Maybe it's just that they really aren't that good at mathematics. I'm not sure what they teach in the "Consumer Math" class in High School, so I don't know.

They will "save baseball" just liked they've "saved the NFL and NBA"...with dwindling attendance and revenues. What arrogance.
