Its interesting looking at all the Euro records still held by the East German women from the 70s and 80s. I think everyone would say it had to do with PEDs. However, when a country 1/20 the size of Germany produces so many elite sprinters and breaks world records by .5 seconds the media will just say...Boy, those Jamaicans are good...I mean they have 40 yr old women running in the 100m WC/Olympic finals and no one bats an eye

I'm picking Jonathan Borlee to win gold with Gillick taking the silver. The bronze will be between Rooney and Djhone. Rooney will have it tough with a bad lane draw though. This is going to be an incredible final.

David Greene looked very, very comfortable in his semifinal. he has to be the clear favorite at this point.

Yes David Greene looked like he was going for a jog in the park. They do some good interviews on Veetle. The only thing that would make it more enjoyable would be if they would interview more of the athletes from different countries instead of only the british athletes. Overall, I'm impressed by the quality. If Pickering can get his form back, now we have a way to watch him live instead of having to find a good feed. I will be watching alot of British Athletics on this channel.

Rhys Williams dominated his semi, making it look very possible that the Brits(or in actuality the Welsh) could go 1-2 in the 400-hurdles.

only one non-White athlete qualified for the final, a muslim "frenchman." it's nice to see so many White athletes performing at such a high level.Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

The mens 200 semi finals are on in the next few minutes. Let's see how Christophe looks. I'm glad the rain is finally going away. The conditions are far from ideal but it is improving. Hopefully for the finals tommorow, the sun will return.

damn, this kid has some jets!

he was dead last coming out of the bend, and he just sucked everyone up like one of those fancy vacuum cleaners.

A very casual 20.39 in the semifinals for Pepe. Very nice indeed. Just like in the 100, he had to make up so much ground. We might have to call him the come back kid. Onemore win inthe finals tommorow and he will be a double gold medal winner. I hope he can get some rest tonight. He will still have the relay as well so it's possible he could take home three gold medals. I love watching the russian high jumpers. The Russians have the top 6 ranked high jumpers in the world. Paul Hession made the 200 finals. Great job by the Irish Man.Edited by: white lightning

they must be the most over-achieving overachievers ever to over-achieve so consistently. someone needs to let them know that they all are actually incapable of doing what they're doing and they need to go sit in the bleachers, so that the afrophiles will sleep a little better.

Sailer flew down the final 50 meters!!! she was FLYING!!!

her bad start but the great recovery speed was very reminiscent of young Lemaitre.

Such a shame the wind was barely over the 2.0 legal amount or it would have been a new personal best for her. I have to admit that she was moving despite the stumble. It was like she got angry when she almost fell and then she was determined to run down the whole field. I have to admit my girl is looking pretty hot even with out makeup! Hehehe.
