In my opinnion it will be a while before Rutgers has another Brian Leonard type player. ( meaning letting a white carry the ball). It seems that as soon as his stint there was done, they moved on to more "high profile" recruits. I liked Rutgers when he was there but now they seem like any other caste team.

I have to disagree Joe Martinek was their most impressive running back during the spring showing break away speed and power.I think he will play alot this year Schiano isn't that big of a dick at least I think he is some what white freindly. Martinek can thank BRIAN LEONARD for his oppurtunity he will always be the most popular player ever to put on the uniform at Rutgers.

RB 24 Mason Robinson Fr., 5-10, 180 OR
    8 Kordell Young So., 5-9, 185
    39 Jourdan Brooks RFr., 6-1, 255
    38 Joe Martinek Rfr.6-0, 210

Both scout and Rivals have Martinek has the foruth string running back. I would love for Martinek to get some carries, but even the obese Jourdan Brooks is ahead of him? it probably isnt likely at least this year. The number one and two running backs are relatively small quicker type running backs and Brooks i am guessing to be a slow punder. Martinek probably has the best size speed combination of the group.

Joe Martinek is in the mix at RB. He was the best in pratice with 4 carry for 39 yards. He is gonna get carry vs Fresno State
    that's a start

At the bottom of this page on the Rutgers site, there is a depth chart. It has white lineman Alex Silvestro (DE on the roster) listed as a starter at DT.
