There seems to be conflicting reports on whether the Bengals starting left tackle is Levi Jones (black) or Andrew Whitworth (white), but what isn't in contention is the fact that San Quentin's Team is one of the blackest in the NFL.

Quarterback Carson Palmer blossomed almost instantly once he became the starter in his second year in Cincy and is the kind of franchise player just about any team this side of Indianapolis and New England would love to build around. Even after having his knee almost completely blown out in a playoff game in January of '06, Palmer rehabbed in record time and threw for over 4,000 yards last season even though he wasn't completely recovered.

The only other white starter on offense is center Eric Ghiaciuc. Andrew Whitworth, a second round draft pick out of LSU in '06, is the top backup at LT and LG and appears to be very close to being the named the starter at LT. Scott Kooistra and Alex Stepanovich are also backups.

Yale graduate Nate Lawrie is a backup tight end. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jeff Rowe back up Palmer.

On defense, Justin Smith remains an elite player at end. A model of consistent excellence, he's had at least 60 tackles every season since his second year and also gets plenty of sacks and quarterback pressures.

Fourth year man Caleb Miller out of Arkansas is very talented and sees the field quite a bit but has yet to crack the starting lineup except through injuries to the team's "real" LBs.

Ethan Kilmer is a White Special Teams Demon who is playing some at safety but is listed at the bottom of the depth chart. Kilmer is probably the fastest player on the team but it will be an upset if he's ever "allowed" to be a starter. Must be those "tight hips" he was born with, or a "lack of game speed," or some other magical subjective deficiency that whites are always decreed to possess. Considering how white Americans have allowed their sports to be taken from them through the use of easily refuted myths, maybe "lack of intelligence" will soon be used when evaluating white athletes.

NUMBER OF WHITE STARTERS: 3 (4 if Whitworth starts at tackle)

APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF WHITE PLAYERS ON 53 MAN ROSTER: 15

GRADE: F

Anthony Schlegel (3rd round pick in '06) was waived by the Jets and signed by the Bengals.

Bengals | Busing signed to active roster
Wed, 10 Oct 2007 09:56:32 -0700

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced they have signed practice squad SS John Busing to their active roster.

When Caleb Miller and Ethan Kilmer recover Bengals will have 5 whites on defense, although i expect Busing to be relegated to PS as soon as Joseph comes back from his 1 game suspension.Edited by: backrow

In the paper today, it says that Ahmad Brooks is out for the upcoming game. Anthony Schlagel is listed as his backup so I think he might get the start.

bad news for Kilmer, who had a shot at being team's nickelnack and play some corner, but didn't get healthy.

If Johnson read Jason Whitlock's latest piece, it sure didn't sink in. Johnson and Carson Palmer have gotten in sideline arguments the past two games, first against New England when Johnson ran the wrong route and the Patriots made a key interception; and then last week against Kansas City when Johnson stopped running on a play near the end of the game when the Bengals were going for a tie, resulting in another interception.

"As soon as I do show emotion, everybody's first word is 'selfish'," whined Johnson, citing a "double standard." Of course he meant it racially without coming right out and saying it. Poor Chad Johnson, indulged and loved by the media and drunk white fans alike, held to a racist double standard.

Unfortunately, Palmer apologized for "losing control," even though Johnson was clearly thelouder and longer-lasting in bothverbal confrontations. Palmer has been showing exasperation as his team continues to rapidly decline. Whitlock was right about the Colts and Patriots creating an environment for Peyton Manning and Tom Brady to thrive in. Palmer's a tremendous talent being held down by a thuggish team and by prima donna Chad Johnson, whose every selfish behavior is indulged by Marvin Lewis.

Chad Johnson has supplanted his idiotic cousin Keyshawn as the game's most overrated player. Johnson is not even the best WR on his TEAM (that would be T.J. Housh), yet he constantly declares himself the best in the game. The jock- sniffing media cooperates in this sham, especially the NFL Network, which has practically made him the official face of their network. Ignore the predictable, irritating traits he possesses and look at the stats. Johnson's stats are not comparable to truly elite WRs like Harrison, T.O., Moss or Torry Holt.

I feel really sorry for Carson Palmer. It must be unbearable being a decent white guy on a team filled from top to bottom with criminal thugs, and overseen by a clueless black coach.

In light of the criticism of the New England Patriots for running up the score, the great sportsmanship of the Bengals should be noted:

Bengals Refuse To Run Up Score Against Steelers

CINCINNATI--Faced with the opportunity to score a touchdown from inside the Steelers' two yard line with time winding down in the first half, the Cincinnati Bengals opted to kick a field goal instead of running up the score. The classy move brought their deficit down to eight points.
"We could have gone for it, of course, but we thought the best course of action would be to kick a field goal," said coach Marvin Lewis. "It's just a matter of doing the right thing and respecting the game of football. A lot of other teams in the league would have gone for the jugular there and tried to run up the score to ten, but that's not what we're about. Of course now we're getting criticized for not being aggressive enough. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, I guess."Afterward, Steelers players lauded the Bengals for being "classy" and said they represented all that is right with the National Football League.

from sportingnews.com:

"SCOUTING REPORT

FS Ethan Kilmer (left knee, left quad) spent the entire 2007 season on injured reserve, and he was sorely missed because he's the Bengals' fastest gunner and most physical tackler on special teams. His strength is his versatility. He's known as "Three Way" because of his ability to play FS, WR and special teams. Kilmer has the ingredient coaches can't teach: speed. But he's extremely raw as a defender and receiver. He must improve his recognition skills on defense so he can read and react more quickly. Offensively, he needs to improve the depth of his routes and make sharper cuts out of his breaks. Kilmer will always be active because he's a wrecking ball in kick coverage. He runs, jumps, and moves well laterally with his quickness and acceleration. He has the innate ability to stay on his feet in traffic, sniff out the ball and tackle the kick returner. Kilmer is a coach's delight because he's eager to learn and improves every time he steps on the field. But he needs time to grow and a position to call his own. Eventually, he'll emerge as a key reserve and potential starter."

Still "extremely raw" at WR and DB going into his third NFL season? What, did he score a Vince Young-like 9 or a Frank Gore-like 6 on his Wonderlic? Sounds like he has little chance of ever being "allowed" to be anything other than a White Special Teams Demon and occasional backup DB.

For once, I disagree with you, Don.

Literally everything I've ever heard about Kilmer is that he's amazing. The fact that the Bengal coaches didnt cut him might be proof enough the he will be a starter a DB one day. Personally, I would say next season Kilmer will start at FS.

I really dont know how the lowly Bengals could allow a true talent like Kilmer to not be on the field as much as possible. He's so big, strong and blazingly fast compared to the past decade of bums starting for the Bengals secondary (Madeau Willams

- who started over Kaesvariharn for a few years).

All the proof the coaches needed came when Kilmer (on one of his first plays ever in the NFL) intercepted Drew Brees for the TD.

But come to think of it...isnt Kilmer an athletic, American white man? In that case, maybe I'm wrong...

he might be the only whote player in recent memory, certainly at DB who's credited with raw athleticism and speed, so i will take it as a positive thing.

DE Justin Smith signed with the 49ers, and to replace him the Bengals signed Antwan Odom away from Tennessee. Here's how The Sporting News analyzes it: "The addition of Odom more than makes up for the loss of Justin Smith, who signed with the 49ers after producing two sacks in '07, because Odom is a much more flexible and athletic pass rusher than Smith."

Smith's 2 sacks last year were repeatedly mentioned by the media. But inhis previous six seasons, he recorded 8.5, 6.5, 5, 8, 6, and 7.5 sacks. Better yet he is one of the best tacklers among DEs in the NFL (in fact, just about all the good tacklers at DE are white). Smith had a very impressive 78 tackles in 2007, and 81 in 2006. By contrast, Odom had a highly embarrassing total of just 21 tackles last year, and has a total of but 82 in his four year career, or about what Justin Smith averages per season. And prior to his 8 sacks last season, Odom had managed but 2, 2, and 0.5 sacks in the three seasons before that. But Odom "more than makes up for the loss of Smith."

82 tackles for Odom in 4 years in the NFL?!? That's literally the bare minimum amount of tackles that any semi-athletic person could make playing DE in the NFL. Pathetic. Typical. I'm sure this loser will be instantly placed in the Bengals starting lineup...which actually has worse players with worse stats than Odom. What a league, huh?

Sporting News is as caste as they come. They'll be calling for Curtis to be benched this off-season. But surprisingly they did mention last off-season that pick-up Dennis Northcutt of the Jags "skills are beginning to fade" and that Matt Jones should have a chance to finally bring together all his talents and shine.

When an organization is so unfair that even caste-whore Sporting News got it right you know you are truly dealing with Team Africa the Jacksonville "Black Panthers!"
