Femke Bol is an amazing sprinter, and i can hardly believe she doesn’t have an individual thread to celebrate her many achievements over the 400-meter distance.

it’s past time to correct that oversight!

i’ll kick off the thread with a video of her most recent run in the Diamond League, where she re-sets the league record (that she set a year ago) over the 400-hurdles, running a 52.27 and crushing the field:

I'm very impressed with her.
She never seems in the doldrums, never seems to be struggling with form - she's definitely the only one who may be able to battle with Sidney McLaughlin atm.
400m hurdles overall is exciting at present.
And I see American CJ Hall came 2nd in Stockholm - his first Diamond League run.

No doubt about that. Sidney McLaughlin looks unbeatable at the moment but the future will belong to Femke Bol. She has all the talent in the world and the desire to become the best womens 400 meters hurdler in the world. I
would not be against her. She should medal again in Euguene. I'm guessing she will take home the silver medal this time at the World Championships.

So much talent in that event, pushing them to run faster and faster times.

yah she was closing like a freight train, so relaxed and lethally fast!. Like I said in another post the runner Cofil for the DR looks like a man. Felix choked as did the anchor for the USA.

Femke Bol cruised in the women’s 400m hurdles semifinals, and the final looks to be her and McLaughlin battling for gold and everyone else is fighting for the bronze, as Muhammad looks to be well back of those two. as an additional note, 22-year-old Viivi Lehikoinen, a former European u18 champion, set a Finnish national record (54.60) and only finished sixth in Bol’s heat!

Femke "Unbelieveable" Bol does it again. One more race to go. What I love most is her age. Just wait till she is around 24 to 26. To be this fast at 21 is unheard of! Amazingly talented athlete!

Love her and her toughness, she is definitely the second fastest 400mh in the world, no one else is close to her in this regards. Unfortunately I do not think that she will be able to beat Sydney Mcgloughlin(not black but Mulatto) at this stage in her career. By the time she has the chance Mcgloughlin will have converted to the 400m and possibly the 800m......

Femke is going to run the 400m, the 400m hurdles, and 4x400m relay at the European Championships.
She could medal (even gold medal) in all events, but all those races might sap her strength.
Let's see....!

Bol is looking VERY strong to start the outdoor season. she’s currently the fastest time in the world in the 400 hurdles, and here she drops a casual 50.11 in the 400 flat. wow!

Beautiful and Graceful yet she runs like the wind. Watching Femke Bol run is like Fine Art and Poetry in Motion!

TOTAL dominance. can anyone challenge Bol in the 400h this year? even in the flat 400, she’s become very, VERY good.

can she beat Mcglaughlin that's the question. The more I see Mcgloughlin the more I think she is adding some form of Jammy yam to her diet....

Femke Bol continues her increasing her legend, winning two gold medals at the 2023 World Championships, including the amazing come-from-behind-on-the-home-stretch performance for the ages in the 4x400 relay. simply an amazing performance!!! if she hadn’t stumbled and fallen in the last 10 meters of the mixed 4x400 relay, she’d have brought home 3 golds. she’s an incredible athlete.

Incredible! Bol is a legendary talent who is so great she makes it look easy. The rest of the Dutch team was good too, keeping the race close for 3 legs.

As an aside, the contrast between the men’s and women’s teams for Netherlands could not be more stark. 4 Dutch women vs 4 blacks.
