What’s with this totally unnecessary Mariota page in the Raider playbook? All it seems to do is get the offense out of rhythm..

Seems like every team with a backup black quarterback, feels the need to bring them in for a few plays, to get them involved; funny, you never see it go the other way around; You don’t see the Eagles bring in Minshew to “Mix it up”..

Leavitt has been all over the place. Hopefully he takes over a starting role next season.

Staley called a timeout. It looked like the Raiders were content with running the clock down prior to that time out being called. Chargers give up a play to put the Raiders in fg range and they kick the field goal to knock the Chargers out. I hope Staley rethinks a lot of his coaching strategy and does not squander Herbert’s career.

Could not understand the time-out either. Maybe Staley thought LV where really into another play and that TO as a way of saying ”Take your time and think about it” ?
I feel sorry for Herbert. He deserved a play-off run after this season.

Six foot seven Anthony Nelson had three tackles two assists and a sack for the Bucs. Makes five total sacks for the season. He's turning into a good solid contributor after being a fifth round pick in 2019. Enough that he's accelerated his racial apprenticeship.

Good news! Solid season for Nelson.

Green Bay's Dean Lowry also finished with 5 sacks and 42 tackles as a 3-4 DE!

Disappointed Watt and Kupp fell just short, but not nearly as distraught as some of my CF brothers!

((Schrager)) and Kyle Brandt(Chicago ***) were both highly critical of Carson Wentz in their loss to Jacksonville. Wentz is "empty between the head"

A comment meant only for a Goy. You can be damn sure they would never question a Black QBs mental makeup!

Yeah I was a little distraught lol! It would have been sweet to see Kupp and Watt at the top of those lists. But what the hell there’s always next year. I probably had one to many whiskey sours as well!

Didn't watch a single minute of a game this week, figured the Packers would lose and back into the playoffs. I'm with Don I could care less about the records. Honestly and I know he is a louse but I watched OJ set his record and while he no doubt had poor opposition to see him do it on those crap fields especially the mud pit in the last game was spectacular and I believe it was a 14 game season. IMO which I have to pay for people to take NFL records today are like track records today versus cinder track records when Thorpe was the man.

Unmentioned from last nights Raiders win was the Herculean effort of Maxx Crosby. 6 solo tackles (3 of which went for losses), 2 sacks, 3 pass defensed and 4 QB hits. This might have been his best game as a pro. There’s also no way Vegas is in the playoffs this year without Maxx’s relentless pass rush.

The guy is a Beast one of my favorite players however I have a bet on The Bengals to win the super bowl so Maxx can have a big game but I hope the Bengals win.

Yea, I think I’d be just as happy seeing Burrows, Hendrickson, Hubbard and Wilson advance. Carr, Renfrow and Crosby wouldn’t be bad either but they are another starter or 2 away from being a CF favorite.

Brady stayed in the game to make sure Gronk reach his incentive catches for the year. Gronk got a cool half a million dollars.

Why can't more whites be like that? Whites need to support whites on and off the field. It's a battle for our survival. Glad Gronk got the bonus. Both of these guys are brought
countless good memories over the years and I'm so happy they are both still playing and also on the same team again!

So I stupidly turned on ESPN to see if by some planetary alignment, they’d be talking about Cooper Kupp, and instead I’m treated to a panel discussion among four idiots, confused and upset about Brian Flores getting fired.
The ticker on the bottom of the screen lays it out pretty clearly: Flores (24-25) 0 playoff appearances in 3 seasons... yeah, we all know what they’re trying to do, but the phony confusion act only makes them look ridiculous...
BTW, Nagy was fired, obviously, and as predicted Zimmer was shown the door as well.

Flores getting fired was a late Christmas present for me. It appears he was the one driving the "Deshaun Watson to Miami" train, totally undercutting Tua, the QB they just drafted. The DWF's over on Finheaven are crying about this but I say good riddance! The guy was an affirmative action hire from day 1 as evidenced by his clueless handling of whether or not Tua was going to be the starting QB going forward, his constant firing of coaches and coordinators, and his piss poor game management. I got a laugh on Twitter reading some of the trending articles about "the optics of African American coaches getting fired and what it means for the league" It's like these people walk on water! Flores didn't get the job done in the 3 years he was here, so he's outta here! It's as simple as that. Despite having some young talented offensive linemen (Eichenberg, Dieter) his OL was ranked 32nd and the Dolphins running game was ranked 31st. His piss poor player development on the offensive side of the ball was a fireable offense in and of itself.

Great memories from both of those legends WL!! Brady knows how to feed the hot hand for sure as Gronk had 10 targets!! Imagine if Brady had Kupp he may have been targeted him more than 7 times. Mike Williams from the chargers took 17 targets to get nearly identical numbers to Kupp last night. Had to throw that one in there I’m done with the target talk now and I’ll just go back to posting highlight videos lol!!

I mentioned on the Dolphins general thread about how Flores getting fired was a pleasant surprise. Naturally the usual suspects are whining that Flores is a victim of racism who dindu nuffins wrong, he only got fired because of the color of his skin, blah blah blah. It reminds me of the old joke. "You're just firing me because I'm black!" "No, we HIRED you because you're black. (Rooney Rule) We're firing you because you suck!"

A White man with Flores' track record would have been fired at the end of last season, or earlier.

Haha...nothing wrong with that! You've been a welcome addition to the site my friend!

Kupp and Watt both had outstanding seasons so we should celebrate that. Let's hope McCaffery is back healthy next year!

Thanks LF! McCaffery having another 1000 yard rushing and 1000 receiving would fantastic!
