Sabrina Lonescu was the no.1 draft pick by the New York Liberty Friday night. The whole draft took 90 minutes.

Glad you brought it up booth. I watched most of it last night. Talented C Lauren Cox was picked third and the daughter of former Duke player Mark Alarie PF Bella was chosen fifth. She is a smooth athlete from Princeton. Lot of upside.

Ionescu is essentially a Luka Doncic clone. A triple double just rolling out of bed.

Other notable names drafted include first rounder Kitija Laska who tore her ACL.

Exciting Iowa point guard Kathleen Doyle was chosen early in the second as was big forward Kylee Shook.

Former track athlete Mikayla Pivec was picked in the third. All in all twelve white chicks were chosen in the three round draft. That is one third of the players. If only the NBA had that white to black ratio?

It seems WNBA has gotten an influx of talented White Chicks last few years. Nice to see, even though you still couldn't pay me to watch.
