Rated the #1 all-purpose back and has legit 4.4 speed. Will has performance so well at camps in the face of the so-called elite athletes. Even the caste system had to step aside. Hopefully Will finds the right coach and team to develop him and protect his progress. Wisconsin, Nebraska or Stanford would ideal locations for numerous reasons.

Junior year highlights!

His speed is like McCaffrey! The kid has that next gear very few athletes have. He will be elite with out a shadow of a doubt!

I'd say he is quicker than Mcafferey but from what I see maybe not as agile with cuts etc. His to the hole acceleration is exceptional but he can also really motor on the long runs, pulls away from the brother dbs like they are standing still. I see him doing very well in College with his blazing speed.

Shipley also reminds me of Sam Mcguffie with that video game speed. Yes his needs to work on his cuts and coordination but he is only 16 years of age. He should be fine by the time
he plays in college ball. I hope he goes to a major school but if I were him with the Caste System so strong I would play it safe and go to Stanford. McCaffrey is his idol so why not?

Of course now the issues of caste influence and surrrounding cast are the major factors. He’s been given opportunity to develop and play rb thus far, we see the results. Shipley should be an elite player but will he have the physical protection, literally. If certain people believe they can injure him etc without consequence then you better believe they will try.

Stanford would be solid but I’d go with Wisconsin. Those boys are maulers and truly believe in being intense, physical and well conditioned. They will soon have an all time great leading them as head coach, Jim Leonard. He fully understands the caste system considering he went through big time.

Leonard was a damn walkon and went undrafted despite being a speedster and great vertical and great play on the field!!

It is not official but Shipley will be going to Clemson. If he chose Stanford he would probably start immediately. He is not as shifty as McCaffrey but only I think because he gets to the hole so fast defenders don't get much of an angle on him and he doesn't have to " shake and bake " . I have seen some of his combine video and he can put on an array of jukes and moves.

Stanford has Filkins arriving this year.....Along with Emmitt Jr.
Still not sure how that’s going to play out.....
I’d like to see Shipley play as a freshman.......
He could do that if he stays in state....
Clemson would be cool, Notre Dame was knocking on the door.....
Wisconsin would be terrific, Frost should make a run at the kid......l

My guess is that Shipley will be heading to Notre Dame, the coaching staff is obsessed with him and they visit him almost weekly. He seems to express mutual interest, and Notre Dame RB coach Lance Taylor happened to be Christian McCaffrey’s RB coach at Stanford a few years back. I think he would have a great opportunity to be a 4 year contributor at Notre Dame. If everything works out then hopefully he won’t even be there for 4 years!

That would be just as good as Clemson. Notre Dame is always on tv and considered by many to be Amercias Team for college football. He would be a household name and so popular. It could only boost his chances of being a higher nfl draft pick! :)

I don't if this puts any pressure on Shipley but both his parents went to N.C. State University, along with about 8 to 10 close relatives.

I would like to see him end up at ND.

ND would be a nice choice for all the reasons you listed by Wisconsin would be better imo. Both are solid.

Notre Dame or Clemson would be excellent as would Wisconsin. Badgers have offered but not sure how much interest Shipley has in them.

The weather might be a bit of a shock for someone like Shipley, but you'd have to be crazy as a RB to turn them down. Everyone that plays RB there succeeds due to the Offensive Line.

i bet he goes to Clemson, hopefully he is smarter then the Kid that went to Alabama and picks a place where he can getting playing time.
