I wanted to start a thread for Luka Doncic. He was just named rookie of the year in the nba. He averaged 21.2 points a game, 7.8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Luka also had 8 triple doubles in his rookie season! Here is a brief video with some of his hilights this season. The kid is a superstar and only will get better from here!

Fantastic season for Luka and one of the few bright spots in the unwatchable NBA. I'm hoping that he has a long and productive career even in that dank landscape. But tell me, can he refer to the guy who paid for the franchise as the OWNER? ;)

Luka 21.2 pts 7.8 rebs 6 assts. Lebron’s rookie season was 20.9, 5.5, and 5.9.

I watched the Mavericks quite often, and Luka is the real deal. The sky is the limit.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ve been pretty much ignoring the nba last few years. I may have to start keeping up with the Mavs again!

Luka and K.Porzingis both lit it up last night against the Detroit Pistons.

For all of you guys on this board the Dallas Mavericks are must see tv if you like basketball. They will be a playoff team barring injuries!

The Mavs have the 2 most exciting white superstars in basketball. These 2 guys, Doncic and Porzingis are as good as any player in the nba. In my opinion
they are even better. Unreal talent by both of these guys and Luka is 21 and Poz is 24 so the future is very bright for a long time!

They'll be my team to cheer for in Western Conference! Quite the combo!

G/F Luka Dončić became the first-ever player under the age of 21 to record a triple-double within the first two games of a season following his 25pt-10r-10a performance. Dončić now has 9 career triple-doubles, adding to his own record prior to age 21 in
@NBA
History.

Most triple-doubles before turning 21:

Luka Doncic 9

Magic Johnson 7

LeBron James 5

If you can stomach the Bill Simmons Podcast, he just released a new episode entitled “A Full-Fledged Luka-Gasm With Mark Stein.” Notwithstanding Simmons’ homo-cuck style, it’s a pretty deep dive into the historically significant feats of 20 year old Doncic.

My only concern for Doncic is the real possibility of a jealous negro taking a cheap shot to try to prematurely end his career.

This is a really good video talking about how Luka Doncic is the best 20 year old player in NBA History. Even better than Lebron in every category. Enjoy the video guys.

The Wonder Kid. The Man, the Myth, the Legend. Luka Doncic is taking the world by storm. He is one of only 3 nba players in the history of the league to average a triple double for a calender month! :)

Luka is the real deal. Even the bruvas have to admit it. Greatest White player since Bird.

Dirk is the greatest white player since Bird. He won one title and it should have been two except for a literally criminal racketeering operation orchestrated by the referees in the series which the (((NBA Leadership and sports media))) swept under the rug and out of the light of day, as they do with so many of their filthy schemes. Plus he won a regular season MVP award.

Luka may eventually become the Greatest White Player since Bird, but for now it is still that other great white Dallas Maverick, Dirk Nowitzki.

I think Steve Nash deserves to be in this conversation. He won 2 league MVPs.
In fact, if I had to pick between Dirk and Nash, I would pick Nash. He could do more things well than Dirk, and believe or not, he was a better shooter than Dirk.

Funny thing - they were teammates on the Mavericks, until Nash was traded to Phoenix.
What might have been . . .

I don't even follow basketball all that much but this is so widespread it came up

Montrez at Luka “Bitch Ass White Boy”

https://streamable.com/9kavvj

He is mouthing it you can just tell.

On top of that it was Paul George that tripped Luka which led to the injury. He saw Doncic backing towards him and he just stood there with his foot out. It sure looked intentional and he got hurt on that play.

"Doncic" and "Larry Bird" are both trending on Twitter right now. People are comparing Luka to Larry.

Larry Bird was a cold blooded killer. He had a late start due to his college career, and his body didn’t hold up into his 30’s. It will be possible for Luka to exceed Bird’s career.

Luka with 43 points; 17 rebounds; 13 assists; 2 steals; 1 blocked shot.......not to mention the ‘cold blooded’, buzzer beater winning 3 pointer in overtime. We will be seeing that replay for decades......

Luka Doncic is now in his 3rd season and already has 30 career triple doubles. He is currently averaging just under a triple double for the 2020/2021 season so far. What an amazing basketball player! :)

Herre is great article by ESPN.com about Luke Doncic and how everyone was wrong about him and his potential. I personally believe he is the best player in the nba. It's hard to argue with everything he does! He will win
many MVPs during his career. The kid is only 21 years of age.

Luka Doncic became the 4th-youngest player in NBA history to score 5,000 career points, when he did so last night.

Luka “Magic” is an elite talent on the offensive end of the court, where it seems he can do virtually anything he wants to do, including the special gift of elevating the players around him.

as an aside, Luka also leads the NBA in technical fouls. he complains too much.
