'Miracle in Miami' and other assorted stellar-ness

It would appear that many black defenders wish they had a gun and could shoot at the player with the ball. Yep, that's the way it seems, maybe put a few recliners on the field as well? 'Football players' allergic to the physical act of making a tackle and making millions, how wonderful that must be. And, if you are cut, you will usually resurface.

Sports truly does serve as a reflection of how "they" want society to shake out. So many parallels can be drawn from what is happening in sports and how it trickles into our society. It really ticks me off more than anything.
Exactly. Yet many conservatives, and even nationalists, fail to see how sports is another area in which they have infiltrated. Many of these folks are either DWFs or they ignore “sports ball” all together, accepting myths of black athletic superiority.

Nathan Peterman getting worked out by the Raiders. That's his third or fourth workout thus far. I really hope he lands with a team. Kid isn't even a veteran yet and he is already being labeled the worst qb of all time.

Gee, I wonder if Brady will now decide to utilize the reliable weapon known as Chris Hogan more than once or twice a game, who was Caste aside to make way for The Great Josh Gordon Crash and Burn Experiment. Ignoring for a moment his drug and criminality issues, Gordon never looked better than a journeyman all season, while Hogan is still in his prime.

It's really a shame that Brady's age 41 season was pissed away while the organization tried to show it could win by being as stupidly Caste as any other. And Brady gets a big part of the blame as well, not just Belichick, for suddenly developing a blind spot for Hogan, who merely led the league in average yards per catch just two seasons ago.

Maybe the Patriots will still come together in time for the playoffs for a Super Bowl win, but that's unlikely, and it wouldn't feel as good anyway given the continuing stupidity of personnel moves on defense, and the insistence on going with penalty-ridden, unreliable sumos on offense. After being carefully groomed all season on the practice squad or as the fourth receiver, Chad Hansen should be stepping into Gordon's role as the third WR option after Edelman and Hogan. And if not Hansen one of the others from the gaggle of talented White receivers they caste on the dung heap this year. . .

Good post Don and most everyone warned here at CF that picking up Gordon was a mistake. The media as usual thought it was a great defining move. WRONG. I know many see this site as too extreme but if leagues paid more attention to CF they would be better off.

And Gordon looked slow and sluggish. He was physical enough going for balls and they tried their best to get him involved but bottom line is it was a stupid decision to get him and now they are paying the piper.

As for Hogan he is sitting with a 29-468 stat line with two games to go. Nothing to jump up and down about but I prefer his use this season over last season where they tried to turn him into a short slot type where he finished with a 34-439 stat line.

In his two "formative" years with the Bills he had a 41-426 and 36-450 stat line but he wasn't really a true starter.

His first year with the Patriots he finished with a big play stat line of 38-680 stat line and it seemed he along with Adam Thielen were on the verge of stardom.

As it turned out Thielen became a star and Hogan has settled into a lesser type of role.

But I still want to view Hogan with the glass half full. Not every starting white WR is going to be a star but starting and being a good solid player is still something to cheer about in this day and age. While we all want more Hogan targets and hopefully with two weeks left and the playoffs around the bend that will happen, I still like the fact he is out their every Sunday instead of coming off the bench as a back up.

His nifty long TD pass last week still keeps me hopeful. And with Edelman ( still a true star) the Pats are still the only team with a huge white WR presence. Would really be nice if Hansen emerges. Pity about their defense though.

I Can only laugh at the Patriots for trading for Gordon. They seem to outsmart themselves more often than not when taking upside laden cast always from other teams. On the other hand every time they pick up a hard working, lunch pail carrying gym rat it seems to work out - Welker, Woodhead, Hogan and Amendola all come to mind.

Gordon was set to be a free agent this off-season and is allegedly facing another drug suspension. I believe he’s played his last game for NE. Hogan will now be the starting flanker and I think after a forgettable season, he’ll deliver big time in the playoffs....

Overall, this is great news, but it was always expected given the fact that Gordon, by his own admission, has been a habitual narcotics user since middle school.

Josh Gordon using the “mental health” excuse for being self-indulgent and not living up to his contract. And, the sports media using this opportunity to get on its soapbox and promote the mental health agenda propaganda. I immediately change the channel as soon as a sports show starts the “mental health” topic. I couldn’t care less.

It must be detrimental to one's health to make all those millions for occasionally catching a ball.

Tom Iron Rule strikes again! Bozo couldn't even last the year out. Zero self discipline, life is hard. It's harder when you're stupid.

Here's some of Hogan's highlights from the 2016 regular season and the 2017 playoffs when he owned the Steelers. If he wasn't as good as Adam Thielen's been the past few years the differences were slight. This is the player who was deliberately downgraded in a big way so that the washed-up, pea-brained habitual drug user Josh Gordon could regain the "magic" that he displayed for part of a season five years earlier.

This is almost laugh out loud funny. Yeah, it's a "uniquely Dolphins thing" that Parker is a bust, when a shockingly high number of first and second round picks each year are unable to have their mouth-watering upside "consistently coaxed" out of them. DWF Nation is never supposed to notice that for every Ryan Leaf and Tony Mandarich drudged up over and over again from 20 and 30 years ago as classic examples of busts, there's dozens of "DeVantes" who flame out every single season.

Speaking Thursday, Dolphins OC Dowell Loggains admitted the team was phasing DeVante Parker out of the offense. "It's combination of injuries, production, practice," Loggains said. Fact check: True. It still seems uniquely Dolphins that the team has been so incapable of coaxing consistency out of its former first-rounder. Going on 26, Parker will not lack for teams looking to give him a second chance after the Dolphins decline his 2019 team option.

So it's the Dolphins' fault that they couldn't "coax consistency" from a professional player. Typical caste talk. It couldn't be the black player at fault, it must be the white coaches. After all, all black athletes are laden with upside and can do no wrong so it must be some white person's fault.

Well done, Patriots.. Unfortunately this isn't a surprise to us here at CF. Perhaps the Pats will find and invest in a legit player? Not so sure.. but I'm sure they can find a few out there!

The Tom Iron Rule. We all called it here at CF as soon as the Patriots acquired Gordon. He didn't even last until the end of the regular season! Another unbelievably stupid, self-destructive personnel move by New England. Evidently they couldn't resist the urge to virtue signal. Hopefully the Patriots are able to unfuc# themselves and don't follow the same path to mediocrity as Green Bay.

I don't think it's so much about virtue signaling as it is Belicheck's penchant for taking guys the rest of the league casts-off and tries to make them work. It's the same idea as grabbing a small white guy from a rival and turning him into a star. It's Belichick's way of sticking his finger out at the league and showing he's better then them. It really is the driving force in his success. There will be a few misfires but thankfully it also means he uses lots of non typical NFL players (white guys).

LaGarrette Blount listed as questionable for this weeks game. If he doesn't play, That would open the door for lots of carries for Zach Zenner. Lions have been splitting carries with Zenner and Blount the last couple of games. No Blount means lots of goal line carries for Zenner too.

Hoping BB works his offensive magic and has the NE offensive clicking the last two games and into the playoffs with our guys. Yes, the defensive sucks, but maybe the GOAT has another run in him.
