Note to aspiring running backs.....

If you get an offer from Stanford, take it.......
Bisharat went to Colorado and rots on the bench....
Borghi, (the next CMccaffrey, they say) minimal carries (none so far and the first quarter is almost over).....,

Wise words. Follow Vardell, Gerhart, Gaffney, Mccaffrey .

Another guy that should have been a Cardinal, Brandon Bourbon. RIP.

Safety Scott Nelson of Wisconsin is awesome......He got kicked out of the game for targeting and it was such a ******** call....These kids don’t know how they’re supposed to make a tackle.

Complete BS call. That was an excellent hit. Punished the WR for making a play. Stinks he'll be suspended 1st half next week now against Michigan..

Not the Wisconsin Defense I'm accustomed to. Weak DL, zero pass rush. Secondary is a liability besides the promising young Safety in Scott Nelson.

I’m trying to watch the Cal game...With the quota in there, it’s tough....This game is reminding me of Illinois......Laird getting squat.

Borghi ended up with 6 carries for 43 yards and 2 TDs, plus a 17-yard catch. His TDs came on a one-yard run in the third quarter to put WSU in the lead while the other was a 30-yarder to seal the game in the fourth quarter.

Cal's coach is a moron. Gave the job to the mediocre black quarterback.

To be fair Mike Leach has always been a wide open passing game type and does not rely heavily on the run game most of the time. As an APB I think Borghi picked the right team as he is ability as a receiver and runner will both be utilized in Leach's offense. I do think that Borghi is seeing the field and getting meaningful touches as a freshman is a good thing. Halfway through the season he has 250 total yards and 6 TDs and that is not terrible considering he is a true freshman playing at the second most discriminated position (after CB).

Bisharat on the other hand was tailor made for the Stanford offense - a bigger bruising back that could wear down a defense. Would love to see him transfer as he has been royally screwed over by Macintyre,

A few random observations from the games:

Ehlinger should be getting into the Heisman conversation - I watched most of that game and he was the catalyst for the Texas victory. Dare I say he was Tebowesque in his performance. Even better is that it came at the expense of the pumpkin headed Oklahoma quota the media has hyped up all year. Speaking of quota hype jobs - The media giving that poly mud QB the Heisman is beyond ridiculous - he is doing nothing that the other black quarterback couldn't have done. Every team Arkansas has played this year has put up huge numbers against them.

I want UCF and McKenzie Milton to keep on winning. He is still not getting enough recognition and is being pretty much discarded as an afterthought in the Heisman.

It looks like Michigan is finally getting on track - Patterson is moving around more like he did at Ole Miss. The TE's are getting more involved as well. Michigan has Wisconsin, Sparty and PSU the next 3 weeks. If they are able to run the table on all of those teams they should be top 5 team. I really just want them to beat Ohio St. who let Indiana stay in the game for 3 quarters.

Not the best day for Will Grier and Drew Lock on the prospect side of things. Fitzgerald is not looking like he will be an NFL QB - my hope is he tests well and is looked at as a WR - Maybe Taysom Hill will be the catalyst for Fitzgerald to be drafted as a utility player. Thorson is making me look stupid which I love! I hope he continues to improve week after week. Stidham needs to finish the season strong and if he gets a first round grade leave Auburn as that offensive system is a joke - SEC fans will be clamoring for a black quarterback savior before you know it.

The Poly hype is understandable if you isolate it to college, but he throws to wide open receivers and it looks like he has a hitch in his delivery, which of course will be overlooked.

He is also sub 6'0". Hurts was doing many of the same things last year although he was more of a runner. When AJ McCarron was back their he got none of the hype either of these two non-white QBs get. Instead he was called a game manager.

Kudos to Iowa St Freshman QB Brock Purdy who led the Cyclones to victory over Oklahoma St. He was 18/23 318 yds 4 TDs/1INT and rushed 19 times for 84 yards with a TD.

I will be attending the Wake Forest/Clemson game this afternoon. Clemson's QB Lawrence is expected to start. I will try and update the game and performances from Lawrence, Renfro, and Muse from Clemson. Also, RB Carney of Wake Forest. Hopefully it's a decent game.

Sorry I couldn't update ya'll on the site, but I couldn't get signal inside the stadium? But it was only a pretty good game up until the second quarter when Clemson finally took over and obviously smashed WF. I did get to see an old buddy's son and friend T. Muse get an INT. Was happy for him. Also Lawrence played fairly well. Dabo Swinney has a son Will, who had a couple of receptions towards the end of the game. Not much happening for WF. Carney 6 totes for 18 yards. They took QB Hartman out midway through the 3rd, I believe, and put in Hinton. He, Hinton, has quick feet, but not much break away speed. Hinton went 0-5 passing. Most of the time throwing the ball 5-10 yards short of his target I looked at my wife and said, "I can't believe this kid is a D-1 QB." AA in effect I guess. Hinton is terrible! I know why Hartman beat him out now!

That turned into an ugly blowout for Carolina but at least Tanner Muse had an interception and in general Clemson is a team to get behind. Not sure they will make the playoffs though. For now the frontrunners are Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia and Notre Dame.

Another holding pattern week. With the exception of WR Andy Isabella our WR crew have either averaged out or taken a step backwards. Even small school WRs Nunnelly and Horsted have slid the past two weeks.

Nice to see WR Trent Irwin have a nice stat line though--7-100 in a loss against Utah. Irwin is still a fringe NFL draft prospect but a solid second half of the season could provide the necessary bump. He has taken a back seat at Stanford though so it is difficult to see a big upsurge but can't give up hope. He has nice smooth talent. Mel Kiper is high on their TE Kaden Smith (8-120).

I went to bed at half but as most here know Utah has two animals on defense, Chase Hansen and Cody Barton. They fly all over the field and wreck havoc. And WR Covey has tremendous quickness as noted before.

The week as usual wasn't overly inspiring but basically all black undefeated teams got knocked off including LSU and KY. But best of all was Oklahoma going down along with Oklahoma State. These two programs hate the idea of having white defenders so it was great to see their so called "big time D athletes" get steamrolled. I like the Iowa State HC and was happy to see them beat Oklahoma State. Great start for new QB Purdy.

Leo mentioned Sam Ehlinger and other QBs below. Kind of reminds me of a poor man's Baker Mayfield with better running ability. Very feisty and getting better. But like someone mentioned above both Texas and Oklahoma are black caste ridden teams.

Like Leo I believe MISS ST QB Fitzgerald will likely not become an NFL starter. In fact like Taysom Hill someone should take a flier on him as a back up QB and utility RB.

On the other hand Michigan's QB Patterson has true NFL talent and like Northwestern's Thorson is getting rid of the rust after an ACL injury. I still believe Michigan State QB Lewerke has NFL talent too.

Mel Kiper on his Saturday radio show thinks DE Chase Winovich reminds him of Clay Matthews and thinks he has first round talent. I agree.

I noticed some horrible calls on white skill players Saturday. As mentioned above BC RB Glimes was in a rugby pile and that is never called a fumble ( unless it is a white RB). And PR WR Thayer Thomas of NC State fumbled a punt because the defender didn't give him an ounce of breathing space. Even the dumbass announcers didn't bring it up. And the trend for flags flying on big white gains continues. These stinking refs.

Ohio State LBs Tuf Borland and Pete Werner just keep getting better every week. Werner was covering WRs at times to give you an idea of his outstanding range.

Also pleased that Air Force knocked the stuff out of Navy and their hyped up running QB.

Is Western Michigan LB Alex Grace on NFL draft boards? Isn't he a former speedster RB? He has a lot of tackles this season.

Leave on a couple of positive notes that have been mentioned above. Max Borghi is a lot like CM and he has the kind of versatility that hopefully NFL teams start taking notice. He had his best game yet.

Finally leave it to ole reliable Iowa to make us feel good. Yes Riley Moss started at CB and had two interceptions. Moss is a fantastic athlete who can run. Is he our great white hope? So far so good.

Anyone watch Nebraska Wisconsin and is Frost still the recipient of the BLM locker room rebellion?

Nebraska played their best game of the year against Wisconsin. They hung tough in Madison but once again stupid penalties killed them. Unfortunately their Freshman upsider QB played well so it looks like he'll be a staple for Cornhusker's next couple years. Verdict still out on Frost but I'll give him time to right the ship. Their run defense has been abysmal. Some blue collared, lunch pail toting, pale faces from The Midwest can help.

About Big Red, it must be against Nebraska state law for them to recruit west of Lincoln, but unfortunately the locals out there are the typical nice Midwesterner yuck yuck cons who would never in their life think they were getting ripped off except for low crop prices then they think they are all owed a new pickup truck or something. Thankfully Danny understood and so stated that he was going where he was wanted. I could see him buried at Nebraska standing on the sidelines all 4 years on their version of the practice dummy squad.

FAU tight end Harrison Bryant had a good game yesterday 6-133-2, he’s an athletic receiver type of tight end.

Fitzgerald broke Tim Tebows Career SEC Rushing Record yesterday. This guy has flown under the radar for most of
his time at Miss. State. He is very athletic. I like watching him play. I hope he gets an invite to the NFL Combine and
tears it up in the tests as his athleticism is top notch. He is better than they give him credit for. Put him on a better team and he would probably get a lot more national attention.
