Well done Croatia! And commiserations to Russia, you've put on a fantastic World Cup and confounded the hate-filled Russophobes...

Watching Sweden lose without much of a fight was tough to swallow. But I cannot argue that England weren't the better team. Also Pickford was phenomenal, and after Claesson's poor attempt right after the second English goal, it was all over.Sterling was horrible as usual.

Here are the goals:

H. Maguire goal (Sweden 0-[1] England) 30'

D. Alli goal (Sweden 0-[2] England) 58'

And goals from the latest Russia-Croatia game:
https://streamja.com/lXRz
Russia 1-0 Croatia - Denis Cheryshev 31'

Andrej Kramaric goal - Russia vs Croatia 1-[1]

Vida goal vs Russia (1-2)

Russia [2]-2 Croatia - Mario Fernandes 115'https://www.clippituser.tv/c/kaqdvg

Penalties

I'm sad to see Russia go, but it was clearly more important for Croatia to progress as they have the better chance against England. Belgium are firmly in the drivers seat though because they look really strong on paper.Belgium have Hazard, De Bruyne,Courtois and Mertens all in the same line up.Their Dindus are the some of the best ones out there and Fellani is a bloody nuisance at set-pieces.

The silver lining is that one of Belgium France will be knocked out next. And let us hope Modric(the best player of this WC so far) and Co. step up and ease past England.

Why didn't Mandzukic step up? He's a bit of a prima donna in my opinion, he probably wanted to get the winner and thought he'd get it if he took the last penalty...

According to Drudgereport, England is in hysterics over their team. If so, hopefully, the White players will be uber impactful next round.

I missed both of Friday's matches but managed to watch a lot of the Brazil-Belgium on repeat in the middle of the night after a semi sleepless night. I am more than relieved Brazil is out of the tournament. I have never ever rooted for Brazil in the World Cup or any other event. And there no way I was going to watch a replay of the France win.

Yesterday I was in a packed like sardines bar watching the Sweden- England match. There were more than a few attractive young ladies wearing shorts and skirts so don't expect me to give a detailed analysis regarding the game-- it is called distraction-but as suspected the Swedes never put up much of a fight and I kept thinking about Germany and the way their superior talent dominated the Swedes. Joking aside the bar groaned watching the inept Sterling miss point blank goals. Of course the pan shots of the crowds pretty much sealed the other competition. The Swedish gals have the Brit babes licked.

That said JL makes an excellent point. Who the hell has England played that is worth a pound of salt? This gives me some optimism that Croatia has a decent chance of upending them. Like the others I am pleased Croatia the better team won. Much like Belgium beating Japan. Brazil would have trounced Japan and England would have had a much better chance of knocking off Russia.

A France- England final would be a boost for the caste system as we all know. Love to see them both take a fall.

Without a doubt as much as I admire Messi he was toothless here although it should be pointed out that the Argentinian and German coach should be shown the door pronto because both teams had the talent to make a huge noise. Instead they looked confused and out of sorts. Not to mention poorly conceived line ups. Germany has better talent than England in my estimation. Just a damn shame.

My new favorite player in the entire tournament is Eden Hazard. I will have to pay more attention to Chelsea next season.

Croatian defender Domagoj Vida has been warned by FIFA after trolling Russians with a pro-Ukraine video:

http://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-wor...vida-warned-by-fifa-over-pro-ukraine-comments

He could've been banned for two matches, which would've been good for England.

The video went viral in Russia, prompting a hostile reaction. Later on Saturday night, anti-Croatian chants were heard in the centre of Moscow

Looks like the Russians will be cheering for England.

World Cup 2018: England's three unlikely lads in Russia

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44753849

Harry Maguire

Age: 25 Position: Centre-back

Jordan Pickford

Age: 24 Position: Goalkeeper

Kieran Trippier

Age: 27 Position: Right-back

Trippier has blue eyes, he looks white to me, so I think we should consider him one of us even though he's supposed to be 1/4 black.

How many whites is Belgium likely to start against "France"?

Edit: To answer my own question, they started 6 against Brazil.

Dembele starting for Belgium. With Meunier suspended Chadli, the Arab, is also starting. Belgium darkening as the tournament goes on.

So today, Belgium are just as non-White as France. Go figure. Both only starting 5. Shameful.

I hope Belgium win, in spite of the fake 'Belgians' playing for them.

France is in turmoil off the pitch at the moment. I'd like to see defeat in this tournament accentuate that fact...

Polarisation is always good for our movement...

I will finish your sentence "end of" -----the good life, enjoying sports, happiness and getting through a day without being royally PISSED OFF!!!

France is a cancer as far as I am concerned and it will spread and kill off the host--meaning me and other like minded individuals.

I admit the new media hero Mbappe is good but he was acting like a punk at the end. And for the life of me how did the refs miss TWO blatant fouls on Hazard towards the end of the game?

Lukaka is an overrated stiff bore and Belgium looked a lot better once Mertens ( and his crosses) entered the game during the second half. Tough loss to swallow and all of a sudden France looks a little less disjointed. They looked disorganized early in the tournament which fooled me into thinking they were ripe to get picked off. Rest assured Mbappe will be shoved up our collective asses for a long time now and the blackness of France will be exalted for their athleticism. Makes me sick.

And why are the younger players in general black? Where are the young white stars. Why aren't they allowed to play?

I was thinking the other day that this WC hasn't been a whole lot of fun. Sure Brazil got knocked off which is always a great thing and I certainly enjoyed watching Eden Hazard play but the Messi disappearing act really did mess up my mood from the start.

The nightmare scenario of having an England France final is close at hand. Croatia can beat England but I am not confident they can win the title.

Terrible outcome and the last thing this world needs is for the caste system to get an extra boost and it just got a turbo charged one.

This is a really disappointing result for our side. "France" is the team I rated the least palatable from a caste perspective in the entire round of 16, while Croatia was the most palatable in the 16. So if Croatia beats "England" it will be the best caste team vs. the worst. Unfortunately I can't watch the match tomorrow because of that stupid job thing.

I agree. It's sad how far we've come in just four years. For those of you who've been here through the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, I remember debates about how teams like Germany and the Netherlands in 2010 weren't the best to support because they "only" had 8 white starters. If that were the case for this World Cup, we'd be doing back-flips supporting them. Heck, some on here even expressed reservations about supporting Germany against Argentina in the Final because they had "just" 9 white starters, with the two non-whites not even being among the leaders or important players in the side. Alas, those appear to be the "good old days" at this point.

In this World Cup, we'd kill to have a final between the 2014 Dutch (8 white starters) and German (9 white starters in the Final) sides. It's just a sign of how things have fallen. Like Shadowlight side, if Croatia doesn't advance, it'll be hard for me to enjoy the Final whatsoever. After a great run of all-white or nearly all-white Champions in Major tournaments (Italy in 06, Spain in Euros 08 and 12, and WC 2010, then Germany in 2014), the last two Portugal (who won the final without Ronaldo and playing nearly all of the game with just five whites, three of whom were defenders and the GK), and now very likely, similar sides in France and England. A very worrying trend, to say the least.

It's worst for me with England. The "Golden Generation" (Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, etc.) were supposed to deliver England something. Instead, they hilariously failed in most of their tournaments. Now, the new, more multi-kulti side is one game away from the Final. Not exactly great optics. A "Golden Generation" filled with white talent like that fails, and now the "new" multi-kulti team is doing better than those guys ever did. Never mind that Kane, Pickford, Stones, Henderson, etc. are what makes the team go. Everybody sees the majority of blacks running around the pitch and thinks "that's what makes the team better." Euro 2016 and very likely this World Cup (unless Croatia pull off a miracle) have been the worst setback we've had in sports. IMO it validates all these European clubs buying and preferring all these African and various minority players over actual Europeans, which will only make it worse.

You nearly bought a tear to my eye,Jack Lambert.

Remember the discussions about whether Aguero,Pedro were white?

some on here even expressed reservations about supporting Germany against Argentina in the Final because they had "just" 9 white starters

Yes I was the forefront of the that, and my argument was that the nonwhites on Argentina's team who were Rojo, the keeper and one other guy didn't really register as nonwhite in the eyes of most DWFs,plus a WC medal for Messi would enthrone him as the greatest player of the game(not that he isn't already but Pele etc.).

And why are the younger players in general black? Where are the young white stars. Why aren't they allowed to play?

I think this is the biggest problem the academies and and lower leagues are so full of blacks now in England,France that the pool of white players is diminishing by the season, and coaches have no choice but to pick some of the better dindus.

Mbappe will be shoved up our collective asses for a long time

He's being groomed for the young player of the tournament award. And I'm pretty sure Pogba will grab the main prize if France win the thing.
Now let's all pray Croatia beats England first.

I'm torn between rooting for Croatia and for England.

My ancestors are nearly all from England, like Pickford's ancestors, or from Ireland, like Kane and Maguire's.

England may have some blacks on the team, but their best players are all white.

Here's Kane in 2005 with Beckham, and recently with his wife and child:
