Mississippi State's Nick Fitzgerald displayed some wonderful athleticism in their OT-loss to BYU last Friday.

He's built like a tank. 6'5 235 and as it been mentioned on this site before he's Miss Sts. Leading rusher this year! Ricky Brown is the team's leading tackler. Too bad the Bulldogs don't deem more white players eligible to play on their plantation.

Baker Mayfield took advantage of Texas Tech's black swiss cheese defense last night. He was 27/36 545 yds with 7 TDs and no Ints. He outdueled Texas Tech's black quarterback in a defense optional game filled with affletes for both teams. It's nice to see him rounding into his Heisman form.

Oklahoma St. QB Mason Rudolph probably flies under the radar more than he should both here and on the national level. He led the Cowboys to a victory over number 10 WVU yesterday and was 26/36 273 yds and 3 tds. Through 8 games he boasts a 17/2 TD INT ratio, thrown for 2532 yds while completing almost 64% of his passes.

From a phyiscal standpoint he is a big, strong athletic QB in the mold of Ben Roethlisberger. His arm strength, zip and accuracy have really become elite and he is an athletic mobile QB to boot. He is a QB I would not be surprised to see declare given the fact he will have had two+ seasons as a starter. If he comes back for the 2018 draft he should be a top 10 pick, if he leaves after this season he is still probably a top 25 pick at worst. His physical ability, mastery of the QB position and talent is way better than Deshaun and Deshone and the human eraserhead Lamar (who is a great athlete but no way is he a first round pick as a QB). He could be one of the QBs that gets the predraft buzz if he declares.

Rudolph is my local QB, so I've watched him a lot since 2 years ago when they burned his redshirt and he saved their season by winning several games in a row, including over OU, as a true freshman. He throws a great deep ball and seems to have all the pro style tools.

Stanford QB Keller Chryst finally had a quality game to get Stanford out of it's passing funk. He was 19/26 258 yds with 3 tds. I hope he is able to finish the season out strong and give McCaffrey some breathing room in the running game. I think Chryst's performance to close out the season will play at least a part in McCaffrey's decision on whether or not to go pro.
