Since 2005, the Bears have started 7, 7, 11, 6, 8, 9, 6, 5, 8, and 8 whites. They will begin life after #1 pick Jared Goff by handing the reigns over to transfer student Davis Webb and look to start 8 whites again this year.

It looks like Davis Webb won the starting qb job as a transfer. He was up there with hackenberg and Goff as freshman back in 2013.

On Cal's latest official depth chart both DE Cameron Saffle and SS Evan Rambo are listed as starters.

An enigma...ex QB...Safety... Luke Rebenzer(listed #3) keeps going back-n-forth with positions...if they could let him focus on just DB it could work out better
