Nate Ebner

I learned today that the Patriots gave Nate Ebner an authorized leave of absence so that he can represent the USA this August as member of the USA Rugby team competing in the Rio Olympics. The team is predominantly white guys and has a real chance to win Gold!

Huh unless a miracle has occurred they will probably be beaten by the cheerleaders. A year ago I watched the All Blacks hold a clinic against them, a brutal beating if I have ever seen one. Maybe you are talking about that abomination the 7s or whatever which made it so the "natural athletes" could use their patented speed but in 15s forget about it.

The USA 7's have beaten the All Blacks twice in the last year!

Not a huge rugby fan, and certainly not an expert. But the 7s is not rugby, it is squirrely little guys running around. The All Blacks took on Team USA in Chicago and it was a brutal beating. Literally top notch athletes of about outside linebacker or tight end size put on a clinic. Then one day I turn on the stoopidvision and see that Team USA is crushing the Springboks and I asked myself how can that be, because they changed the rules and put little fellas on the field and tell them to run about in circles till big fellas from the national rugby team wear out and drop.

I did an internet search if rugby fans think 7s suck and it seems it is not a trending internet topic, maybe I'm wrong.
