Vince Young vs Manning

Is how ESPN is promoting the lousy performance of Young. They have replayed his touchdown run exactly 319,154 times since Sundays game. They fail to mention that he had 60 odd yards passing, 0 tds and 1 int. Yet all i hear is how Vince Young nearly beat Peyton Manning. What a joke. Anyone with half a brain hopefully isnt falling for this black worshiping hype.

Another thing i need to get off my chest. After the Monday night game, Micheal Erving was ranting how there is now way he would put Denver on his top 5 list in the AFC. Soley on the fact thatPlummer had 6 yards passing in the first half. He went on and on how pathetic Plummer was. Instead he put the Ravens on his list. The Ravens lead by Mcnair. Mcnair had 0 tds and 3 ints in the game. The sameRavens, who just lost to the Broncos. Plummer ended up with 1 td and one int. He outdid Mcnair hands down. Steve Young was luckily not letting Erving spew his dumbness without pointing it out. He basicly told Erving he is just talking to be heard and making no sense. Young did refrain from bashing Mcnair though. I wish he would have, but im sure he knew if he would have, he might be looking for a new job. That would be racist. But none the less good job Steve Young. Way to stand up for your own kind! As for Erving, you just showed me and the nation that you may be the dumbest and most racist analyst out there. Your anger, that your black QB just got beat by whitey, wasobvious.Your a disgrace, even to you own kind.Edited by: bigwhitehorse

I have never liked Irvin, Sanders, or most of those ex-players who are now talking heads, albeit with $3,000 dollar insane looking suits on!

Irvin should be off the air based on how poorly spoken he is. I can barely understand half of what he or one of the Sharpes says. I'd make a crack about him hitting that pipe again, but from the looks of it, he's gaining weight.

The Colts had a terrible game and I can't wait for Young to get injured, I'm looking forward to it. He can't run like that forever.

Steve Young made perhaps the best run by a quarterback (againts the Vikings I believe.) Don't look for VicK Young to do the same anytime soon. And yes Philipj, Vick Young will get injured when defenses learn that all he can do is run... Anyone remember Dulpooper's last run? If I'm not mistaken he got injured and has NEVER played the same. Of course, it has much to do with the lack of Moss over the middle catching Dulpooper's hail Mary, wounded duck sh!t balls!

Nice link! Steve Young was a peerless combination of great passing ability, great running ability, and intelligence.

i can't even remember when TO was just another talented young player who was part of a team. now all i know is his big mouth!

those highlights of Steve were amazing. he and Jerry Rice were an unbelievable combo! even though Rice wasn't very fast and Steve was a RB playing QB...

That picture perfect pass from Young to Owens that's shown repeatedly on that clip was on fourth down towin a playoff game against Green Bay. It was one of the best clutch plays in NFL history. Young threaded the ball beautifully in between five defenders.

What was also memorable about that game was that Owens had three or four crucial drops before finally holding on to that fourth down pass. The only reason the 49ers were in a do-or-die situation at the end of the gamewas because of Owens' bad hands.

It's too bad Steve Young couldn't stay "forever young." He was a lot of fun to watch play the game.

I agree. What game were all of those media guys watching? They were praising Vince Young's performance and saying how he's maturing. Surely they weren't watching the same game as me.

He had 64 yards passing and the highlights showed the only two or three decent passes in the game. Everytime he has the ball he wants to run.I hope the Titans lose every game this year.It will be karma for passing on Jay Cutler.
