I'm a novice, forgive me if someone's posted this before.. any preference for Fox vs. CBS NFL pre-games (?)

I also noticed that a pre-game caste system has developed.. it used to be a Black anchor, leading the conversation amongst former White players and coaches.. but now the caste paradigm is Black anchor, plus unintelligible Black player (Sharpe, Strahan) plus White veterans. [ESPN flipped it and went bizarro, White guy leading Black panel, with one unintelligible White (Ditka)]

The additional Black player is usually outspoken, but garbled (a la Sharpe, D. Sanders) and decked in Mafia style pinstripes.. and is great as Marino was, the guy looks like he huffs glue before he gets in front of the camera, with those watery, deadened eyes. am I missing something (?)

Watched CBS' NFL pre-game today for the first time this season.. I noticed Marino was missing (?) Anyone know if he retired, or is he on sabbatical..? They had former Jet (Bart Scott) at the desk, and from what I saw & heard, he's terrible. Over-animated & barely intelligible commentary..
What kind of screen test are they givin these guys.. Even more idiotic, Scott has a history of static with the so-called sports media he's now a member of..

A positive note, the CBS game was called by Rich Gannon. He seemed knowledgeable & had a good demeanor. His call reminded me of Esiason who I like and hear a lot on radio games..

Troy Aikman is generally fair to the white players.

He was fired for being white. They replaced him with Tony Gonzalez to add to the diversity.

Sharpe was replaced with Bart Scott. They basically switched loud mouthed blacks in that swap.

Marino gave them the extra white QB. Replacing him with Gonzalez gives them the mix they want. Black host, QB and Head Coach(both white), along with a loud mouth and overly opinionated black, and now a Hispanic.

You nailed it Peach.

I recall two or three weeks ago Bart Scott made the comment "They let JORDY NELSON put up over 200 yards on them last week! JORDY NELSON!? Really!? Imagine what DAT MAN Brandon Marshall gon do to dem."

The level of elocution required to make a living as an NFL (Not Fully Lucid) analyst in the modern sports media..

Ladies & gentlemen.., I give you CBS Sports' studio analyst, Bart Scott:

Bart Scott was an average LB that carved out a career by running his mouth and becoming a favorite of Rex Ryan. He is a world class buffoon.
