McCarren, a devout Christian with great character, is being smeared, first by Ian Rappaport last night and now Mayock. If this kid was black and hadn't been drafted yet, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would already be holding a press conference crying racism.

What are they saying about him ?

He's arrogant, many of his teammates didn't like him or his leadership on the field, he's interviewed poorly with many NFL teams one on one, he should have played at the Senior Bowl but didn't. . . a whole lot of nothing.

The key to understanding this is McCarren being a devout Christian. They aren't wanted in the NFL as Tim Tebow well knows.

I could see this coming. I didn't even buy a draft magazine this year. Some years I buy a couple, but just thumbing through I could see it would be a waste of money. So thin this year.

Rabbi Rich Eisen felt compelled to defend his constant references to Manziel. One might think there is nothing wrong with mentioning a White QB so much, but Eisen was always the leading cheerleader in constantly mentioning and mocking Tebow, in effect helping to create the "media circus" that supposedly led all NFL teams to shy away from Tim. Can't help but feel Eisen once again has an agenda, and it's not a pro-Johnny Football one.

This draft is awful, feels much worse than usual. I'm not adverse to a black player being picked on merit but this is just ridiculous, even a typical fan must be watching and thinking there are not many white faces!!

I had a bad feeling this would happen. Sucks for Dalton and Smith. Of course no chance a team with a black quarterback would ever draft a quarterback.

You can't make this stuff up!!! I just checked the Redskins' website. They have blurbs on the players they drafted. 2 white players (progress I guess). Trent Murphy "works his tail off" and Spencer Long "brings workmanlike attitude." HOW CAN PEOPLE MISS THIS?

Funny how the Bengals and the Chiefs have young pro bowl qb's but they both draft great quarterbacks. Yet the Jets and Bills have complete garbage at quarterback and neither take a qb. I wonder why :icon_rolleyes:

Vinny Sunseri off the board now, were flying off the board now lol! Sunseri to Saints don't know if that is a good fit, they obviously have a porous defense that relies on Brees to get them through games so you would think they would put him in the line up next to Vaccaro but then again this is the NFL and after this draft who knows!

Two straight drafts with White receivers being totally screwed. Too many successful ones in recent years, especially outside ones, which was taboo for many years. Gotta get back to having a very few tokens.

Jared Abbrederis might go undrafted.

[h=4]Weaknesses[/h] Has a slender build and needs to bulk up and get stronger. Ordinary pop off the line. Builds to average speed. Could struggle to separate vs. quick-twitch covermen. Lets throws into his body and breaks stride to catch. Not a jumpball player (30 1/2-inch vertical jump). Straightlinish after the catch -- pedestrian agility and elusiveness. Has a history of concussions. Bench-pressed 225 pounds just four times, lowest of all combine participants.

Reminds me of Ryan Swope.:eek:hwell:

Translation: overachiever for the former, and lunch paler for the latter. Glad I did not waste time watching this corrupt so called draft of the best players.

Jordan Tripp to Dolphins, good fit all analysts were saying they needed line backers and Ellerbe was a flop, hopefully he gets solid playing time for the Dolphins

Just checked rounds 4 and 5.

Thomas ahead of all available white quarterbacks? A huge mistake. Thomas never had over 60% completetions in his career. he had a poor TD to INT ratio his final year.

A wasted pick by Cardinals. Especially with Savage, McCarron and Mettenberger still available.

Did they mention that he torches first round cornerbacks?

WR-Jared Abbrederis to the Packers!!

I was thinking that he might end up there if he was drafted at all considering he went to Wisconsin. I believe he was the last pick of the 5th round, which sounds better than being taken in the 6th. Hopefully the Packers will let him shine but I'm certainly not optimistic.

Abbredarris to green bay, easily see him as the third receiver behind nelson and cobb. James jones leaving has helped him here. Forgot they drafted the Adams bloke of Fresno but still see him having a future in the team especially with cobbs injury problems last year
