My wife introduced me to the show Hard-core Pawn. I couldn't believe what I was watching. There is no mention of race or anything else. It is reality show based in the slums of Detroit. It just shows the workings of a pawn shop in the inner city. It shows how blacks act in their own enviroment, pretty much chimping out all the time. We are truly different. The funniest thing was I recommended it to a friend and he said he already watches it. He also told me the owner was Jewish. That added a whole new dimension to the show. This show is almost a evangelizing tool........lol

Becareful with shows like this. Theres no way Gods chosen people would put themselves in harms way.

The knee grows are paid to act ghetto but not attack their hook nosed massas. Theres this guy on Youtube called Amazing Racist who goes to black and mexican neighborhoods wearing a KKK outfit. It was all scripted.

Not to mention most of the ghetto shows on VH1 use small time actors.

Amazing Racist KKK skit

'Big Bang Theory' because it doesn't have a black character. A trait it shares with numerous other successful sit-coms. Not racist in any sense beyond that, save perhaps for one bit of dialog:

Sheldon: Yes, enjoy your japes, gentlemen. You think you’ve poked fun at a milquetoast academic. Well, you’ve forgotten one thing. I am also a son of the Lone Star state. I’m Texas through and through. And we know how to settle scores down there. If you doubt me, ask Mexico.

The joke is interesting. Did the writing staff (and television shows tend to have large staffs, 'The Colbert Report' has 22 full-time writers) find humor in the idea of a geek character being a bit chauvanistic? Or was it a subtle jab at the sort of chili peppers one has to deal with in L.A.?

If BBT had a black character, or a Mexican character, imagine the dilemma. The obligatory stale jokes, 'Oh, so you saying a black man can't be a scientist? Oh, sho' nuff boss, I'll calibrate dat particle accelerator right aways boss suh!'

Would the writers be able to poke fun at NAM characters in the same way they do with Raj or Sheldon? I doubt it. You can only go so far, seeing as how it's 'too soon', and it's always 'too soon'.

If you can't be kidded then you're not a part of the family. And sit-coms require family.

Just about all "reality TV" is heavily scripted. For some reason I've watched episodes of "Bar Rescue" of late and it's clearly heavily scripted so that each "rescue" has pretty much the same plot -- the bar owner or a manager is heavily resistant to the proposed changes of professional bar consultant Jon Taffer, there's lots of screaming and yelling and cursing by the hulking Taffer, before the recalcitrant holdout eventually sees the error of his ways with everything always ending up hunky dory by the end of the show as Taffer bids him adieu and walks off into the night.

As a very infrequent television watcher, it's amazing to me how DWF Nation has completely adjusted to and loves the all-seeing eye, an important part of the rapid changeover of the country as a whole to a super-surveillance state. Just like professional actors, nobody in these shows ever acts like there's a camera there filming them, often multiple cameras. I've come to believe that most DWFs' fondest wish is to be a star in a "reality" show of some kind or other.

Are there really any people left in the world that don't know how blacks in the ghetto behave? Sure, people lie to themselves and each other about it, but no one is not aware of how they really are.

Anyway the show is obviously scripted. Any for profit entertainment has to get the permission of anyone shown on a television show, usually as a written contract and with compensation. The people chimping out have microphones strapped onto them. So it must be set up in advance. Considering every other black on TV is portrayed as a combination of King Solomon, Ghandi, and Einstein, it's a rare chance to show those people acting naturally, so in a manner similar to the "Red Foxx Show" and "Steppin' Fetchit" its funny as hell.

A show I considered amazing is a program called The First 48 on the A&E network. It deals with actual crime scene investigation (mostly homicide) in various cities. Some crimes were gruesome. I haven’t seen the program for two or three years, so the modus operandi may have changed. I nearly posted about it back then. Almost all the perps were black on the episodes I watched. I mean back to back to back episodes. Somebody was asleep at the switch to let unfiltered reality make it to broadcast.

CM Punk isn't Black. The "Punk" in this vid is some Black dude.
Its WWE wrestler David Otunga. "Punk" was his nickname for the show. I don't know how anyone could get him confused with CM Punk.

Wow, I'd hope you could recognize the family as Chosen. They're not exactly cagey about it. Before I quit watching it though, I noticed that the show was having more and more white customers 'acting out' in explicitly 'black' ways, doubtless to counter inevitable charges of racism... to which they were subjected simply by showing blacks in their 'native habitat' so to speak.

Anyway it turned into yet another 'chick show' all about their family dramas and I couldn't stomach it any longer.

All of it. Shows which aren't meticulously planned and scripted can readily be recognized by the fact that people will look directly at the camera. That's what people do when there's a camera present. Never happens on 'reality' shows does it.

I agree. These shows are heavily scripted. I watched the show Hardcore Pawn a couple of times. On one particular episode, the obese negro security guards cursed out and basically threatened a black shopper who was sitting on the couch. I would have been fired for a tenth of that at work but all the Jew owner did was bring in some security guards on a probationary level to "scare" the negroes into doing their job "professionally." You just can't make this stuff up.
