Rodman is one of the all-time greats. Maybe he can pick up some tips from Rodman, namely how to play harrassing defense and how to get in the head of opposing players. Plus, Rodman has 5 NBA rings and also played on some good Spurs teams.

It was very nice to see that in the IND-MIN game tonight, the top performers were Tyler Hansbrough and Kevin Love, respectively, for their teams.

Kevin Love had 16 pts and 21 rbs in the win, while Hansbrough had 21 pts, 10 rbs, and 3 steals.

Where are all the DWFs and other clowns who said neither of these guys had the game to play the in NBA?Edited by: foobar75

Great point foobar75. How can you not love Kevin Love? He does it all and his defense is not as bad as people make it out to be. Kevin is improving in every aspect of his game year after year. He was a stud in college but now I would have to describe his as a phenom. Amazing player! Edited by: white lightning

Love as of now has 53 straight DD's, longest streak since the 1976 NBA-ABA merger. Next record for Love to break is Wes Unseld's 55 DD streak.

Love also has 62 Total DD's for this season (again NBA record is 71, by Kevin Garnett). Love is just tearing up the NBA record landscape!

Yeah, Love's streak ended because he took SIX shots during the game, in 32.5 minutes of playing time. How does your star player, especially when such a historic streak is on the line, only get SIX shots in a game? I'm sure if Koby Bryant or Lebron or any other black star had a comparable streak going, that the team wouldn't force feed them the ball to keep it alive.

Nevertheless, congrats to Kevin Love on a phenomenal record.

It looks like Love could have EASILY scored 4 more points with over 4 minutes left but I think he was just tired of all the focusing on getting a DD. It was still one heck of a streak and I congratulate him!

Even though the steak has ended, it gave Love serious credibility, he's now the real deal. It's an amazing post NBA-ABA merger (1976) record, and he now can finally just focus in playing and possibly put another amazing streak. Either way, job well done!

I think that 71 double doubles in a season record is still in play.
That would be impressive too.

It takes young teams a few years, so next year will be important for the T Wolves.

As I posted already I am keeping a look out for Love's 3 point total for this year. Larry Bird's high in a season was 98.
Love is curently at 98. Love had already been a better rebounder than Bird, and is scoring at the same pace as Bird was when Bird was at Love's age. Love needs to get his assists up though which I am sure he will.
But, Love needs more help inside. Bird had McHale and Parish back in the day...

Kevin Love had a great game last night against the Bucks. He had 30 points and 20 rebounds. This guy makes nights like this seem almost normal. He is the one of the biggest stars in the nba and I hope he will become a household name. For that to happen, the Twolves need to start winning more games. They are off to an 0-2 start but they have played good. I really think they will have a nice season. Rubio needs to become a better shooter and he will in time. His dribbling and passing skills are amazing. They also have Luke Ridnour to help out with the scoring from the point guard position.

Kevin Love is looking great. He lost 25 lbs and is looking to uphold how important White players are.

He mentioned how Arvydas Sabonis was his favorite Blazer and how Kevin McHale was his favorite power forward. He uses his up and under moves a lot, which is much more effective than jungle brova ball.

Yes, Love is a star and possible super star in the making. I really want him to take the next step and become a top 10 player in the league. He's certainly in the top 20 right now.

BTW, is Van Horn your favorite player? I followed his career and him and Gugliotta were my favorite players during the late 90's.

Yep Keith is or was a great player. I really loved his efficient shooting. I posted on another thread about his lack of interest in becoming more versatile like Bird.

When I watch Dirk play I think this is what Keith should've become. He didn't but oh well. Dirk got a ring this past spring.

And Gugliotta was the friggin man. I don't remember him much because most of the attention was given to Kevin Garnett (yucky "gangsta") but I always loved his composure and versatility.

Van Horn was a more athletic Nowitzki but he never had the shooting touch that Dirk has. Not even close. That's really what prevented him from being a superstar. Gugliotta was a beast for a few seasons. He was slow to develop, heck he didn't even start until his senior season at NC State.

I think Van Horn had the talent, but lacked the confidence and aggressiveness to become a star. He was good, but he should have been better.

The expectations for Van Horn were very high. Many were calling him the next Larry Bird. Certainly a stretch.

I liked Keith Van Horn alot. It was great when he lead Utah deep into the tournament. I belive they made the final four but I would have to check as it was so long ago. He was a great guy on and off the court.

We need to get behind Kevin Love. He is a superstar. In my opinion, he will be a top 5 player in the near future if he isn't already. Amazing talent.
