Thank you for the article.He is by far my favorite player in the NFL.He is just so exciting to watch.He would have made an excellent sprinter but I'm glad he stuck with football.Way to go Curtis!

Thats a real inspirering article. Whites develope latter; if more kids would stick withfootball I think we would see more players like kevin.
He's not the fastest white player in the NFL he's THE FASTEST player in the NFL. I sure hope the Rams cut old man Bruce or lower him to 3rd WR next year. Any coach would do that seeinghow you have the rapidly devolping Curtis waiting in the background.

There's a good chance that your right about that whiteCB.I would love to see him enter the NFL's Fastest Man Contest in the off season.He is 27,almost 28 and it's basically now or never.I guarantee he would have won it about 2 or 3 years ago.He probably still can if he decides to enter it.I think Travis Jervey was the last white player to enter it and he did very well!
Whites definitely develop later than blacks. That's why so many white athletes get squeezed out. However in places where there are few blacks - Iowa, Nebraska, Utah! etc. - whites can continue to develop. That's why so many top white athletes come out of these areas.

Kevin's alma-mater, Snow (Junior) College beat Butler Junior College in the Top of the Mountain Bowl today in Salt Lake City, 17-14. Snow still has plenty of white receivers tearing it up!

I really hope the Rams can get Curtis the ball this week.Not only are their playoff hopes on the line from here on out but he needs to get that 1000 yard season.He had better be starting by next year.What a joke!

Kevin Curtis only has 1 catch for 9 yards today.It's a joke how he doesn't play much now and they don't have a good qb to get him the ball.I feel really bad for him because since he got benched,the Rams are losing and are now out of the playoffs.He would have had 1000 yards easily if they would have kept starting him.Who knows,maybe they would have won some more games too.It's all about screwing over white receivers.
Looks like the Rams would rather lose than upset the great Isaac Bruce. I watched the game and Bruce really looked terrible. Time to ship him to the sales barn. WL, good observation that the Rams have been losing since sitting Curtis.

Madmax,you are going against all of the opinions here.There is a certain pressure to play the black players regardless of the talent level.It has been proven on many occasions here if you just go back and read older posts.Kevin Curtis and Joe Jurevicius could both easily eclipse 1000 yards every year.They could both be Pro Bowl Type Players.The coaches just really cringe if they have to try and trust a white athlete.It is engrained into ther heads that blacks are superior athletes.I.Bruce used to be a Pro Bowl Receiver but those days are long over.They benched M.Faulk as a starter,why not bench Bruce and make him the 3rd or 4th receiver?Curtis needs to start to give them the best chance to win!!

They're not intentionally trying to screw him over, they're just treating him the same way EVERY white player at his position is treated in the NFL: poorly. It's a little telling, I think, how well so many white players play when they get the rare opportunity... but that opportunity comes only when one or two or three black players get injured.

Obviously, no coach would refuse to play a black QB, or a black center, or a black pitcher, just because he's black, if it would cost him games. That's just illogical. So anybody who ever complained about a dearth of blacks at those positions is obviously wrong, and should shut up.
Applied to life in general, obviously no business would refuse to hire a qualified black man because of race...that would just be illogical. Therefore, the reams of legislation about racial equality in hiring are obviously useless meddling.
