Started: 6 Whites (4 Englishmen), 4 blacks, 1 Arab
Finished: 7 Whites (4 Englishmen), 3 blacks, 1 Arab

Blackpool 1 Wigan Athletic 3

BLACKPOOL:

Started: 9 Whites* (4 Englishmen*), 2 blacks *N.B. Goalkeeper Matthew Gilks was born in England but has previously been called up for Scotland (on the basis of his Scottish grandmother), although he has yet to make an appearance. Nevertheless, I have counted him as a "Scot".
Finished: 8 Whites* (3 Englishmen*), 3 blacks

Finished; 7 Whites (2 Englishmen), 3 blacks, 1 Arab

Finished: 7 Whites (4 Englishmen), 4 blacks

ASTON VILLA:

Started: 6 Whites (2 Englishmen), 5 blacks
Finished: Unchanged ratio

Arsenal 1 Liverpool 1

ARSENAL:

Started: 5 Whites (1 Englishman), 5 blacks, 1 Arab
Finished: 6 Whites (No Englishmen), 4 blacks, 1 Arab

LIVERPOOL:

Started: 11 Whites (4 Englishmen)
Finished: Unchanged ratio

Unfortunately, black-friendly Wigan's win at Blackpool means that they have crawled out of the relegation zone and moved above the "Whiter" Blackpool, West Ham and Wolves (although the latter have a game in hand). I'm hoping that Wigan shall still go down...

Bolton's goals were scored by a black and an Israeli, while White Dutchman Robin Van Persie netted for Arsenal. The fact that an Israeli scored the winner riles me even more than ifthe scorer was a black...

Arsenal's defeat means that they are almost certainly out of the title race, although they still have a very big say in things as they host Manchester United next weekend.

There are 4 matches remaining, which means 12 points to play for. Arsenal are now 9 points behind Manchester United and3 points behind Chelsea. The current standings are as follows:

Manchester United 73 points (goal difference of 39)
Chelsea 67 points (goal difference of 37)
Arsenal 64 points (goal difference of 31)

Manchester United play Arsenal and Chelsea in the next two rounds, so the titlemay be decided in a couple of weeks (although there are a number of interesting, if improbable, permutations). Here are each of the top three teams' remaining fixtures:

Sat. 30 April Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur
Sun. 1 May Arsenal v Manchester United

Sun. 8 May Stoke City v Arsenal
Sun. 8 May Manchester United v Chelsea

Sat. 14 May Blackburn Rovers v Manchester United
Sun. 15 MayChelsea v Newcastle
Sun. 15 May Arsenal v Aston Villa

Sun. 22 May Everton v Chelsea
Sun. 22 May Fulham v Arsenal
Sun. 22 May Manchester United v Blackpool

oh my fecking god , i can not watch the english premiership anymore
without getting aggressive and enraged by some of the teams that i see
and was surprised that nearly as even if not comparatable in
champianship also .

it has got to stage where i no longer want to watch to avoid getting so
annoyed as not good for the health ,
understand now so called white flight from anything with a large presense of blacks , as simply dont want to be around them if can help it , i know how important the atmosphere and the feel of something is .
and this quickly dissipates with to much of a black presence .
cause i know what type of people they generally are .

Rebajlo ,
you seem to have this disease ,me too and most people on forum have also , seems to be a disease of numbers .
that we can no longer watch the sport we loved due to a large presense
of type of afflete , which only seems to be getting worse and worse
and the powers that be only encourage numbers to go up and up.
as do numbers in society and attitudes in society.
and because fighting a losing battle as stands or eventually come to
some sort of equilibrium that obcessed with the numbers
as the numbers represent what the sport means to you .abit gay but said it

It is a way of thinking that is always there when i watch the sport
dont like it but only natural to relate to similar athletes
it is like a diseease as i never used to think like this ,
as was young , stupid ,noticed it but didnt care but now when look at
such sports always there and takes enjoyment from it .
this obcession with race that i think all comes from good
ol america ,with a race quota in every advertisement to tv programme and movie never so obvious than nowadays , that conditioned to think like this by been constantly been bombarded by these idealsand now here in europe with recent influx and cant think of worse
place that effected than france .i aint french but follow sport
and european soccer heavily effected by players from that league .

that people cant think about some sports without separating race from it ,sports with large black numbers or mainly black or even traditionally non black sports .
i see this in france , where cant seem to have a team sport without
thinking wait a minute , need at least one non white or more
and then this happens at every stage of youth system and people take advantage of it and many other various factors with time spirals out of controland et voila
you have cee french national team .

Peterborough finished in fourth place, which means that we shall be involved in the promotion playoffs.Sterling stuff!

So, Manchester United are the champions for a record-breaking 19th time.

Chelsea and Manchester City automatically qualify for the Champions League, while fourth-placed Arsenal shall enter the Champions League qualifying round.

Fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur secured the automatic Europa League berth. F.A. Cup runners-up Stoke City shall also compete in the Europa League (because Cup winners Manchester City qualified for the Champions League) as shall League Cup winners Birmingham City, who will play in the League Championship next season following their relegation (see below).

At the other end of the table, Birmingham City, Blackpool and West Ham United are relegated.

I was very disappointed that:

(a)Liverpool (the Premier League's Whitest team) finished sixth and therefore failed to qualify for Europe;

(b) Birmingham City (the second-Whitest teamthat consistently fielded the highest number of Englishmen) were relegated;

(c) the comparatively-White Blackpool were relegated;

and (most of all)

(d)the disgustingly black Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers (the latter Indian-owned to boot) escaped relegation

Hello, Just wanted to follow up on this subject.  Whatever happened to
Karl Baxter -- I was looking forward to an update to his great summary
of EPL from last season http://www.castefootball.us/viewarticle.asp?sportID=8&teamID=0&ID=23481

I'm still around. I just got too busy doing lots of other writing work. Also the level of comments at CF is so high that they are just as good as articles. I recommend some of the posters here put some of those insights into article form and send it in to Don who'll be happy to hear from you.

I'd also like to say Rebajlo's doing great work with his week-by-week analysis. Keep up the good work, bro.

We're thinking along the same lines, Karl. When CF is rebuilt, I am going to push fora numberof us to write articles for the new homepage, which will allow for comments after them. Most can be short, in fact many of the posts here can be used instead as homepage blogging material.

BTW, the rebuild is behind schedule but I'm hoping it will be completed over the next several weeks.Edited by: Don Wassall
