This trailer for the movie has me pumped up. I always loved Rocky but this is real life which makes it even better. The Cinderella Man and Raging Bull were also both very good boxing movies. I hope they release and english version and it makes the american theatres and not just on dvd.

Great Review on the documentary film...

http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=27678&more=1

Majority of the comments FAVOR the film and the Klitschko brothers as a whole, with a few typical haters around. Nice to see CLASSY and GOOD GUYS getting TRUE recognition for a change.

The brothers are so CLEAN and WELL-mannered, it just drives DWF's (who prefer criminal thugs) insane of the wall. This may go down as one of the BEST boxing documentaries ever.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but I didn't know where to post it.

I'm hoping there will be a blue ray video of the Klitschko movie on the market before too long.

Parody,

Curious, but what is the exact difference between blue ray and regular DVD, is it noticeable or a bunch of malarky? I am not much of a high tech video tech guy. If there is, I will definietly buy the doc on blue ray.

thanks.

Blu Ray is high definition, DVD is standard definition.

Some of the older movies when remastered to Blu Ray don't appear to be HD.

However, the newer movies in Blu Ray are in perfect 1080p high definition. You notice a lot of details that you wouldn't normally be able to see, like the individual leaves in the trees or the lettering in a poster on the wall. Edited by: Parody

I don't care if its on blu ray, dvd, vhs or even betamx, I'll buy it! Klitschko memorabillia gets a portion of my income anyway.

I don't care either, lost. I'll definitely be buying this when it comes out here. BTW, I use a DVD/VHS combo player/recorder. I like being able to record on both formats, plus I still have a fair number of VHS tapes. I doubt I'll switch to Blu-ray until they quit selling DVDs.

during Christmas, Costco were selling DVD/VHS combos for 35 dollars brand new, from reputable makers, such as Sony and Toshiba. Pretty soon VHS will be extinct.

Looking forward to seeing this. I hope it isn't going to be politically corrected by the jewish movie moguls, "paying homage" to the so-called negro greats of the past, like Clay alias Ali who would be lucky to last two rounds against either brother. The two greatest heavyweights of all time, the Doctor Klitschko brothers. Amazing anomalies in a sport filled up with low lifes and criminals, particularly in the USA.

It would be interesting if they posted on an internet forum, especially a friendly one.

I was just watching some of Vitali's fights. He breaks all the rules. He doesn't even hold his hands up to protect himself.

lost and Westside, you are correct about VHS. It is soon to be history. I'm just glad you can still find a lot of new and used VHS tapes online. I'll probably invest in 1 or 2 more DVD/VHS combo units before they leave the shelves for good.

By keeping his hands down his arms don't get tired. It's tiring to hold your hands up in front of your face, especially for a big guy. Look how he stalks Solis. He comes in leading with his head. Who else could pull that off?

His unorthodox style is the reason why he is near untouchable. Nobody has ever fought the way he he fights and been successful. He does that move to invite shorter opponents to attack the head and lunge at him so that they will be off balance and expose their chin for one of his heavy handed rights to the temple. I truly believe his kickboxing base taught him this technique. I also feel that he has never worked with an American trainer because they would mess with his unorthodox style and make him fight more like Lewis or Wlad and it would make his chin more vulnerable because he would get hit more. Vitali's style is awkward but extremely effective for him. VK looks like he'll be susceptible to right hands by holding his left low but he's extremely quick and accurate getting his left up and throwing successfully accurate jabs when he's attacked which confuses his opponents.

The trailer looks superb. I can't wait to see this.

Here's another link to the trailer as the one lost posted seems to have been removed -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BsnS4gfxaU

The ending sequence to the Vitali-Solis fight was very impressive. Vitali is basically stalking him with his hands down drawing Solis in. Solis throws a left hook, Vitali takes a step back, blocks the left with his right, Solis follows with the right hand which falls short and Vitali is in position to return. Solis is now open and Vitali fires off a right hook/uppercut to the head and Solis is finished.
