    2024 NFL Draft

It's actually an exciting year on the WR and RB fronts. I don't remember the last time we had so many (relatively) players being this highly regarded, despite stupid stuff like what you are seeing. The teams are looking at McConkey and Pearsall as day 1 and day 2 players. I'm looking forward...

    2024 NFL Draft

The vast majority of these "experts" haven't watched a lick of film aside from watching a game on the tube while drinking with their buddies. Or alone in their basements. They just recycle whatever crap is floating around about a particular player and insert their own biases. Not unlike...

No doubt. What does that even mean? That Rees-Zammit is not going to have enough of an attitude? From looking at how the Euros are kicking ass in the NBA, they certainly are proper "dawgs" of "doggs", who's to say a wave of rugby stars won't turn out the same?

Wouldn't be the worst place for him since Reid isn't going to be using a fullback in this offense. If the Chiefs draft him he will be an RB, whether he's designated FB or not.

Cooper DeJean is certainly piling up the frequent-flier miles this pre-draft season. In addition to meeting with the Bills as mentioned in the Bills thread, he's been to Philly, Pittsburgh and Seattle. A surprising amount of interest.

One of the things that Mahomes does that very few other QB's do. He rents facilities in Dallas and invites not only his current teammates but also potential draft picks and available WR's TE's and RB's. Justin Watson cemented his roster spots with his work here. Glad that Rees-Zammit is...

    New York Giants General Thread

Yeah, the local sports guys were busy beating on Daniel Jones yesterday as a "meh" quarterback and should be replaced IMMEDIATELY if the Giants ever want to be good. "Wasting time with a middling QB" is what they said. Of course these same knuckleheads have Michael Penix as their favorite QB...

As one famous melanin-correct RB once said, “Dis beez owr posishun!”

He's apparently gotten very good council on dealing with his boneheadedness. Like others have mentioned above, I expect that legally he will get a slap on the wrist. From a $$ perspective though he will be selling that Lambo and 'Vette after they are fixed to settle the civil litigation coming...

    2024 Masters

Thanks for the news on the leaderboard. I finally took a look at ESPN after reading your post. From listening to the morning radio guys here in KC, you would think that Tiger is running away with the event. They could teach Rabbi Lerner a thing or two about excess drooling.

    2024 NFL Draft

It's nice to see these sorts of conversations going on in the mock draft world. Kind of a breath of fresh air. All three of these AFC West teams would be a good fit. The Chargers got rid of Austin Ekeler, Raiders let Jacobs go. He could step right in to either of those places as a major...

    Bobby Witt Jr.

It's nice that the Royals seem to have put together a decent team around Witt this season, especially pitching.

I'm old enough to remember Nancy Lopez' streak. Until Don posted this, I had not heard a peep about Nelly Korda or her accomplishments. Here is a picture of her after winning her first of the four tournaments:

“Truthfully, we’ve gotten a little bit longer. Hopefully, as we see it on the field, we’ve gotten a little more athletic," he said. Wow, hard to get more caste-y speaking than that. "Longer, more athletic". Only qualities possessed by members of a certain melanin-enhanced magical race.

I read somewhere that his father played for NFL Europe back in the day. So he is very familiar with the game which gives him an advantage over many pure rugby players.
