La France Blanche - that is 100% true. Think about it: Zach Zenner showed more than any other Detroit RB when given a chance... then promptly waived before the start of the next season. I’ve posted his highlight video here before - clearly better than half the backs in the league.

Burkhead gets some opportunity due to being in NE. He is slowly gaining respect around the league.

McCaffrey is clearly the best back in the league- and his dad would not let it slide if he was blackballed. Same with Shannon Sharpe who has known him forever. Christian was a known commodity.

But Nall would- in no uncertain terms- dominate this league if given opportunity- and the Marxists cannot have their narrative questioned- their power lies in their brain-washing indoctrination... white males start to question things and their whole take-over will begin to crumble. It is showing cracks already as they have started to overplay their hand.

The Broncos announced today that Brett Rypien will be the starting qb Sunday replacing Jeff Driskell, who replaced Drew Lock who started the season and was injured. They also sign veteran qb Blake Bortles.

There is an article on bESPN about the NFL manipulating games to drive scoring up by not calling offensive holding penalties (even less than they did before). This results in higher-scoring games which, they posit, the fans want.

To this I say: what fans? Each successive year drives more people away from the turd product the National Felons League rolls out onto the (fake) grass.

The game is so far removed from where it was and still should be - it has become arena-league outdoors. QB’s are putting up record numbers every year... but QB play is not at a zenith by any means. It is much, much easier to play offense nowadays. Does anyone truly think Dak Prescott is on par with John Elway? His stats sure make it seem like he is!

Offenses have gotten so simple, mimicking college, to account for the curious drop in IQ of the new-wave I’d quarterbacks.... and defenses are collectively full of idiots that cannot figure out how to defend the read-option - which shouldn’t really be viable past high school ball (and indeed many high-IQ white HS teams shut it down every Friday night every Fall season).

But yet L Jackson gashes supposedly elite athletes in defense every week with the read-option.... hmm maybe tasing the collective IQ of the defense would help but no... can’t have white men leading the way here.

They have been reading my posts about grass fields. Ha. Please note the player rep JC Tretter is white. It's about time a player rep thought beyond the pot smoking and relaxed drug rules.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...t-jc-tretter-calls-all-teams-use-grass-fields

Also the Steelers -Titans game has been postponed. It could be made up as early as Monday. I see this as a blip rather than a big concern. They have things pretty much under control so don't expect a rash of games being pushed back like in college football or what happened in MLB. It could happen but I don't anticipate it.

Good Lord the Covid crap, at most send home the positive testers home to sit for a short spell and play football and no stupid masks. Besides it is probably a hyper sensitive anti-body test that comes back positive even if you have no chance of the sniffles or worse. Best I can tell about Covid is that it has a slightly higher R-naught then the flu on par with colds amongst the snot nosed brats.

Occasionally Weenieworld gets it right. Someone named Greg Ward is now Philly's top receiver. Not that it's going to affect the braying of the mindless DWF herd that "it's all Carson Wentz's fault!"

DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.
Jackson's hamstring pull was reportedly "not too serious," but you never know with him. He's been far too injury-prone in his latest Eagles tenure. Greg Ward was Carson Wentz's top wideout last week against the Bengals. The Eagles have once again been ravaged by injuries just three weeks into the year.

All the old timers who had to play on 1st generation astro turf should sue the NFL. I caught a TD pass in old Texas Stadium, the truth it was a 7th grade trip and we brought one of our schools mini footballs and I caught it in the end zone during a tour of the stadium. FTR the field was literally outdoor carpeting over concrete the best I could tell.

A link to an article on Ty Summers, I'd say fair, but of course if word gets out that it's on CF they will probably have to run the young man off, Trubiskied or Wentzed. They did mention him and 5 other Packers missed Kamara on his highlight run, but at least they mentioned that nearly half the D missed cleanly while Summers went high and bounced off.

From Lance Rentzel's 1972 book: "The Cowboys had built a brand-new $30,000,000 stadium, partially domed. with the hardest artificial turf in all of football. What made it even worse was that it had rained all week, and the field retained the moisture so thoroughly that even a helicopter could not fan it dry."

"It was like playing on slippery concrete."

Merlin Olsen said, 'They should take Clint Murchison up in that helicopter and drop him on this field from twenty feet up and see if he lives.'"

"'If he does, I'll play on it,' I replied."

Ha, a $30 million stadium, or quite a bit less than Patrick Mahomes alone will be paid this season. Three Rivers Stadium was built for the same amount, as I imagine a lot of the stadiums were in the late '60s and early '70s, most of them virtually identical with the same boring round look. The one that just opened for the Rams and Chargers cost $5 billion, or 170 times as much. The "official" inflation rate is always understated, and nothing illustrates that better than when it comes to sports, whether it be salaries, advertising costs, TV deals, stadium costs, etc.

Pretty much goes in line with my argument over the latest black quarterback push. Missing calls and making questionable calls on defenses to negate turnovers by black QBs (looking at Mahomes who benefits more than anyone from this). The read option was figured out in 2013 yet again we see it being run in the NFL. They keep tweaking the rules to make the league more and more conducive to offense, specifically to offenses that have black QBs.

I remember hearing stories about playing in Montreal and it was similar to this. Andre Dawson wrecked his knees on the hard turf in the Olympic stadium.

Since Fox will televise the Thursday Night games starting next week I debated whether to sign up for the "one day package" again to get the NFL network tonight for one last time. But I think I will pass. I believe Jets starter Jamison Crowder is expected back and I can only assume that would relegate Braxton Berrios back to the bench. Maybe he will play but I will take my chances. If he doesn't this is one unappetizing game. The Broncos are a caste laden bore.

Now just when I saw possible good news bad news followed. It's always something. It looks like Bucs WR Godwin might be out several weeks but Justin Watson returned to practice. Great. Yet in the same article Scotty Miller sat out practice with a groin/hip issue so his status for Sunday is up in the air. Damn I am getting their game with the Chargers too. Which would mean I have gotten all the Bucs games so far this year which in any other year is unheard of but the NFL knows Tampa Bay is a big ticket item now.

Speaking of the NFL being alert they just took a bad situation and sweetened the pot. The postponed Steelers-Titans game is now scheduled for Monday or Tuesday. And they plan to televise it. If they play on Monday the plan I heard was a CBS 5:00 game making it the first of a Monday night doubleheader. If they wait until Tuesday the plan is to televise it at 6:00 or 7:00 ( probably the latter). Say what you want about the NFL but they are a well oiled machine. As opposed to MLB who is in the midst of some cluttering 16 team gimmick playoff scheme that bothers the heck out of traditionalists like myself.

A couple of days ago was the announcement that 5 Titans personnel and 3 players tested positive for Covid 19. The announcement went on to say “all 8 people are ASYMPTOMATIC.” Another stat I heard was prior to week one, the NFL did 13,000 tests, and all were negative.

So, we’re in the midst of a global pandemic of the most contagious, deadly disease in the history of mankind? Yet zero out of 13,000 tests are positive? And when they finally get a few positive tests, the people have no symptoms? And they postpone the game? I honestly feel like I’m in a never ending Twilight Zone episode.

Perfect example of the frickn caste system and fuuuuk the nfl. Caleb ran a 4.4 with a 37 inch vertical at Vandy’s pro day. Plus his coach and other scouts have raved over his route running and excellent hands but he went fricking undrafted. Blow the **** up! And his dad is a former nfl player so he has the dna too. Blow it all to hell!

packers-sign-wr-caleb-scott-to-the-practice-squad

Short bio of a young man taking the long road to the NFL.

The covid thing is a cruel joke, too bad no one tries much less succeeds in making the case that "our elite" is evil, because it is not stupidity it is evil.

Like I said it is always something. I was looking forward to an extra Monday/Tuesday TV game but the Steelers-Titans game has been put off until later in the season.

Caleb Scott? I thought that name sounded familiar but when the post above mentioned his 4.4 40 pro day time it all came back to me. Reminds me of Alex Bachman who also blew out a 4.4 40 pro day time. Both were underused in college. Will they ever make a mark on an NFL team? Won't be easy as we all well know.

The Ryan Switzer burial will have to wait at least a little while longer. In what looks like his last chance the Browns signed him to their practice squad. Have to think he will get called up at some point.

It looks like the Jets Gase and the Falcons Quinn are in trouble. If they don't turn things around soon I suspect both will get the boot. And I can't argue with that. But they have a little more time to redeem themselves although it is hard to envision a big improvement. The Jets have a winnable game against the Broncos tonight.

I used to be a bit of a Gase fan when he was trying to clean up the mess in Miami. Unfortunately he just looks like an inept head coach now. He's ruining Darnold's development. The GM Douglas has been hyped up as a personnel guru but the team he has assembled is pretty bad - oline is in shambles, no TEs to speak of and a joke of a defense. Darnold is only 23 years old - we saw what a difference McVay made with Goff - the Jets need that type of head coach. They also need to build a team around him. The media is now making Darnold-Trevor Lawrence whispers. In reality the team that needs Lawrence is Carolina.

Ideally Switzer will get some PT this year with the Browns. Landry has hip issues and they lost their return man.

I really hope Carolina can get Trevor Lawrence... what a pairing he and McCaffrey would make!

If this happened it would probably become most of our favorite team here on this board. If Switzer doesn't make it on the Browns, maybe bring him in for a look and hopefully draft some other young receivers or make some trades to give
Lawrence more weapons to work with. I know this is very hypotetical and all a long shot but it's a nice dream. Poor CMac is just stuck on a team without alot of talent.

Lazard out for the year. Might explain the Caleb Scott signing to the PS. I've gotta admit, Scott definitely slid under my radar!
