watching the Polish U18/U20 indoors, it is so refreshing to see all these beautiful white people. Watching some of the Portuguese indoors it is mostly negros as well so many negros in the Aussie youth ranks. It is happening in Canadian youth track as well, so many negros and Chinese. I feel worried for whites in Canadian track. They all cant be playing hockey.

In case you guys wanted to also see the mens 200 meters finals at the british indoor champs here you go. Chris Stone would have won except he stumbled & tripped right before the finish line. Great race but I wish Stone could have won as he had the fastest time in all of the heats.

I was looking at the world lists today and see Teeters is number 6 in the 60 meters. When looking at the 50 meters, I saw Gerrit Wickens of South Africa is number 4. In the 200 Devin Quinn is 15, and Karsten Warholm is number 2 in the 400.

Nice to see a white woman at the top of the 60m indoors in Ewa Swoboda with a time of 7.08. MB Sant is tied for 12th with Daphne Schippers at 7.18. Abby Steiner is ranked 3rd in the 200m indoors with a 22.97. Seems Cunliffe is not sprinting as of yet. Anyone have any updated info on her. She hasn't posted or said anything..

just a comment on people who'll never be world beaters but just love the sport and do it with all their hearts - Gary Finegan from Qld, Australia has never won anything but (apart from one injury-clouded year) has run mid/high 10s since 2003, peaking last year with a 10.58 which he aims to beat this season nearing age 35 ....... the sort of guy you'd kill to have in your masters' relay teams

The 20 year old sprinting sensation Kevin Kranz of Germany won the national indoor champs today. He ran his heat in a new p.b. of 6.56 and
then won the finals in a time of 6.59 seconds! He was never remotely challenged in either race. This kid has arrived and is running similar times
to Julian Reus who has a p.b. of 6.52 from several years ago. I could see Kranz breaking that in the near future. Kevin Kranz is going to smash
his personal bests come this summer. Very happy to see Germany producing some very exciting young sprinters. This kid is the real deal. I would
be happy if he can his p.b. outdoors down to around 10.10 this summer but I'm secretly hoping for more. Time is on this kids side though and
his future is very bright!

Kranz ran a 6.71 last year, so that's a 0.15 improvement over only 60 meters!! He should easily beat 10.00 this summer.

Tortu did a 9.99 after a 6.62 in 2018.

Kranz, Tortu, Erasmus, Teeters, this season is shaping up to be huge for our guys.

Congrats to Su and Kawakami for incredible times. This post though is more in regards to the "blonde bullet" Henrik Larsson. The
kid is only 19 and already running 6.60 and he broke the Swedish 100 Meter National Record twice last year at only 18. One to really
keep a very close eye on in the coming years. He will be the talk of all of Sweden and also be known worldwide if he keeps this up. Here
is his instagram page. I'm a big fan of this 19 year old sprint sensation.

In Dusseldorf today . . .
Bingtan Su ran 6.49 to win the men's 60m. That's his 2nd sub 6.50 this season.
Ewa Swoboda got 2nd in the women's 60m in 7.10. Schippers 3rd in 7.19
It seems Schippers is doing a slow motion version of Lemaitre's yearly decline. I'm very sad about this.

Also Jacbob Ingebrigtsen of Norway won the men's 1500m defeating World Indoor Champ and recent WR holder (indoor 1500m) Samuel Tefera of Ethiopia.
He set an under 20 world record and a national record as well. He is a teenager!

Her start has always been her weak point and in the 60 meters the start dictates everything. I don't know if her decline is that obvious yet as her 2015 season could have been a career year, but a Lemaitre like decline seems similar, except she had a higher peak, so she has more to lose.

Lucky for Schippers the rest of the field are good international athletes but not exceptional. She wasn't making any ground at all.

Considering Schippers PB is 7.00 for the 60m, her times this year are really slow.

Perhaps a more apt comparison to Schippers is Jeremy Wariner.
Both were at the top of their events and then switched coaches . . . and then slowly, but steadily declined.
Schippers should go back to her old coach and her old training methods.

MM, Ta Lou is not good international competition, she is top 4 in the world in the 60/100/200 so Schippers is slowly fading while Swoboda is coming on. Hopefully Swoboda can carry it outdoors this year but I think she went after the Indoor times and title for this year.

Schippers upper body is looking very tight and she is starting to bob her head at full speed, not a good sign. Needs to be more relaxed in my opinion.

Anyone get a look at Kilty's GF....nice looking lass.

"the rest of the field" - meaning those finishing behind Schippers. I'm very aware of Ta Lou's talent

Ah, you know nothing of sprint! She needs Master Carraz in order to reach her full potential!;)
