Iran military base in Syria attacked with 9 killed

An Iranian military base in Syria was attacked on Tuesday, sources confirmed to Fox News.

At least nine people died in the attack, Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in Britain, told AFP. The report could not be independently confirmed by Fox News.

The military compound that was hit is located about 10 miles south of the Syrian capital city of Damascus, western military sources said.

Syrian TV reported that it was an Israeli airstrike and that Syrian air defense systems shot down two missiles.

The attack happened in Kisweh, according to the official news agency SANA, about an hour after President Trump's announced that he would be pulling the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal.

High tension between rivals Iran and Israel have prompted an increasing number of strikes as of late. Iran has promised to respond to Israeli-led attacks aimed at Iranian outposts in Syria.

Those include an attack on Syria's T4 air base in the Homs province in April that killed seven Iranian military personnel. And on April 30, Israel was accused of attacking government outposts in northern Syria, which left several pro-government fighters, some of whom were Iranians, dead.

On Tuesday, the Israeli military said they'd identified "irregular activity of Iranian forces in Syria" and urged citizens in Golan Heights near Syria to ready bomb shelters.

Yes, it looks like Israel is doing their best/worst to start a war with Iran. After it starts they of course will run to daddy USA, shrieking bow the big bully Iran hit them. I pray we don't stupidly let the Jews drag us into a war with Russia.

Exactly. We are always their (Israel's) ally but they are certainly not ours.

I personally don’t give a rat’s @$$ about the fate of the muzzies over there. I just don’t want the Tribe dragging the USSA into war...especially with Russia &/or Red China. Either one of those 2 would utterly hand “Amerika” (2.0) its backside (on a silver platter).

What I don't like is the obvious double standard.

Israel is permitted to commit all kinds of massacres and atrocities without consequence, and still receives 1/3 of all American foreign aid dollars, which it doesn't need. But if any other country did the same, the western countries would at least apply sanctions, and possibly launch a punitive attack.

CNN called the massacre a “crackdown”. While thousands of Palestinians have been executed or maimed, how many Israelis have been harmed in the past six weeks of Gaza’s protests? Precisely NONE. This is a strange kind of terror.

I agree with that. The unfortunate thing for me as a German is that more "refugees" come with every additional conflict. Essentially transporting the conflicting party to europe, bit by bit .

I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading that article.

I am a gentle man at heart and as a true biblical Christian I am against undue and unnecessary violence. With that said, I am truly becoming my username.

Am I glad Trump won? Of course! I celebrated by literally jumping and dancing by myself in sheer delight in my kitchen that night basking with the victory and the Leftists losing in such heart-rending and humiliating fashion.

Having said that, I see him continuing the war hawks agenda, the neocon agenda, and in reality the jews agenda. Every bit of that is to our demise and destruction ultimately. These wars and aggression are all for Israel and ultimately to take over the world and gentiles even if by proxy.

I have said in ways before that an overthrow of epic proportions needs to take place. I see no other alternatives. That may sound like "treason" but I see no other options...

Netanyahu claims he got Trump to back out of Iran nuke deal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bragged that he convinced President Donald Trump to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal, according to reports.

“We convinced the US president [to exit the deal] and I had to stand up against the whole world and come out against this agreement. And we didn’t give up,” Netanyahu boasted in a clip aired on Israeli TV Tuesday and translated by The Times of Israel.

The deal — brokered by Trump’s predecessor, President Barack Obama — eased economic sanctions in exchange for Iran limiting nuclear research and opening its doors to international inspectors.

Trump, who as a candidate called the arrangement the “worst deal ever,” announced on May 8 the US was pulling out.

Netanyahu previously claimed the agreement wouldn’t prevent arch-rival Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

Days before Trump announced the withdrawal, Netanyahu dropped a bombshell that Israeli special agents had stolen thousands of documents from an Iranian warehouse, proving “Iran brazenly lied” about ceasing banned nuclear research.

Public broadcaster Kan filmed the clip two weeks ago while Netanyahu was speaking to activists and senior members of his Likud party, it was reported
